10/10 Provides strength and flexibility
By Janine Nelson

I have been attending Gretchen's classes for about six months. Her classes have provided the strength training that I needed to compliment the walks and jogs that I do on my own. I've tried other strength training programs that left me feeling tight with less range of motion. Gretchen's Forza classes have improved my strength and flexibility. Her exercises isolate and work all the muscles while providing as much cardio as I can handle. I appreciate Gretchen's ability to find the balance between pushing an individual to work harder, and pushing to the point of injury. I feel younger and stronger with just one class per week.
10/10 I am now a convert

For many years I have avoided "exercise". I am 65 so I knew I should be doing something. At my husband's urging I joined Gretchen's Steady Strength class and now after over a year I am a total convert. I schedule around my class times because I just don't want to miss them.
Gretchen has a special gift. She is encouraging and yet her expectations are spot on. She is able to keep track of the needs and limitations of all in the class, making everyone feel attended to. She is always watching for form, gently correcting and guiding so no one gets hurt. I have been so pleased with the steady improvement in my posture, strength and self confidence. This is a fun class with a lot of variety. I encourage anyone to give it a try...

I am an Osteopathic physician and an RKC. I have been working out with Gretchen Falck for almost a year now. She is an excellent instructor who varies the workouts enough each week to keep things interesting and challenging. Check it out. You won't regret it.
10/10 New Muscles! More Energy!

I am late coming to strength training of this intensity and I love it! My background is as a certified Kripalu yoga instructor, and I am finding Forza Fit! with Gretchen Falck a wonderful complement to my daily practice. I have always had good balance and been very flexible but my endurance and upper body strength were not where I wanted them to be. After a year of working with Gretchen I am pleased to have some strength gains that can be objectively assessed. Even more, I feel a new steady flow of energy that is there for me in daily life.
At first, the form of exercise was demanding enough that I wondered each time whether I could even a complete the session. Because of Gretchen's awareness of each student, however, I never felt pushed past my limits -- only up to them. Now I plan to come three days a week, and if I have to miss a class I feel a sense of dismay. I also love the creative way that Gretchen keeps the class feeling fresh and stimulating by adding new challenges, new twists on familiar movements.
At 51, I feel stronger than I did in my 20s and 30s, and I feel grateful to entering a more athletic chapter of my life.
10/10 I need that gentle push

I have been participating in Gretchen's kettlebell classes for the past 2 years. I am a physical therapist, athletic trainer and have done much personal training over the past 20 years. I know what I should do to gain strength, but really have a difficult time pushing myself. Gretchen does that for me. She varies the classes enough to find different ways to strengthen the same areas, she knows what motivates each client personally and she is a fantastic role model. I look forward to "killer" sessions and am so disappointed when I have to miss.
10/10 More energy and strength

I joined the class when the time was at 6:00 A.M. and was then possible to exercise and go to work on time. This led to twice a week when Saturday mornings opened up, and now that is my favorite time to come to class.
I find the group a way to challenge me to keep moving and try new things. Gretchen is a very competent instructor, and varies the work out and adds new things as we progress. I like the stretching after the workout also. I am glad that this is available in Northfield.
10/10 If not now, then when?

As a physical therapist with a Master's degree in exercise physiology, I've been to many courses on strength and rehab. In spite of which, I've long suffered back and neck pain. I was fearful that swinging such heavy weights, I'd injure myself. Gretchen took great care to ensure I was using proper techniques, and I've never been hurt doing kettlebells. Gretchen varies her classes every session and we're always being challenged and learning something new. She is constantly educating herself on new exercises, nutrition, stretches and aerobic activities to keep activities fresh and interesting. I highly recommend her as an instructor for kettlebells
