10/10 Excellent Trainer

I have been working out on my own at a local gym after trying to use various exercise programs at home such as P90X. Giovanna's teaching and encouragement was what I needed. My progress had halted before I joined her kettle bell gym and I was not gaining muscle strength or endurance. Giovanna showed me that without proper technique, my efforts were useless. In the one month that I was able to attend her gym, I saw as much improvement as I did while doing the P90X workouts over a two and a half month period. My workouts are now more productive thanks to the coaching Giovanna gave me. I will miss her and know that anyone who is fortunate to workout with her will benefit greatly.

I discovered Giovanna after I had been doing Kettlebells for 18 months on my own using DVD's. I was very excited to finally have a real person show me the techniques in person. Giovanna helped me to master Kettlebells by teaching me correct form and posture when performing Kettlebell maneuvers. She started with the basics and kept advancing me with more Ketttlebell routines. I always left her class feeling a great sense of well being and happy. After 5 months, I started a diet program and while regularly attending Giovanna's class. After 2 months, I dropped 15 lbs. I need to preface this with telling you that I am almost 59 years old and have been on too many unsuccessful diets. With Giovanna's help and her Kettlebell work outs I have successfully managed and reduced my weight. Giovann has helped me improve my emotional and mental well being. Giovanna was a great positive motivator and always willing to go the extra step for her students.

I agree with everything that Linda said!!!!! Great instructor, very motivating, worked on technique to make sure we were getting the benefit, gave you options for your limitations, etc. I definitely have gotten stronger and am very motivated to keep going with what I learned. After every class, I felt every muscle in my body because of the variation in exercises. I have never liked the weight machines because they are so boring - this was anything but boring. I loved going to class and will miss Giovanna and her class!!!!! I was so happy to have found this in Roscoe, IL and am saddened that it is ending. Good luck to you and your family in Italy!!

 
10/10 No longer intimidated by weights

I have never taken a class that involves weights before. I was always intimidated by weights and afraid of getting an instructor that was too focused on what I could not do. As a 55 year old who has never worked with weights I also was afraid of pulling something or hurting joints. Giovanna changed that and I am so glad I have taken her beginning kettlebell class for the past two months. Giovanna has been able to take me from where I was at and helped me get stronger. She focused on proper body mechanics so that I was never feeling I was going to pull a muscle or hurt a joint. If an exercise was above my ability level, she was able to modify to my level so I could start to improve from there. Although she was able to modify activities, she was also very good at challenging me to keep going strong and to stick with her challenging activities. She had the amazing ability to challenge all different ability levels within the same class. I would highly recommend Giovanna as an instructor; I am stronger now than I was two months ago and am very motivated to continue with the kettlebell exercises Giovanna has taught me. Thank you Giovanna!
