Paying by Gift Certificate
You can use a gift certificate to pay for almost any item sold on our web site. Please see the terms and conditions for details about when gift certificates may be applied to an order. For more information about using your gift certificate, click the links below.
All you need to redeem your gift certificate is your claim code. Here's where to find that 8 digit number.
- On e-mail gift certificates: to the right of the spend by date in the upper right-hand corner
Shopping Cart: If you want to redeem your gift certificate when you place a new order, just add items to your Shopping Cart and place an order via our order form. You will be asked to enter the claim code on the order form.
Additional Payment Methods: If the cost of your order exceeds the value of your gift certificate, simply provide a credit card to pay for the balance.
NOTE: Gift certificates are non-refundable and must be redeemed for their full value.
Missing Gift Certificate: If you have lost your gift certificate or never received it, email customer support or call 1 (651) 487 2180 for further instructions.
Gift Certificate Not Accepted: If you are having trouble using your gift certificate to pay for an order, be sure that you are entering the claim code exactly as it appears on your gift certificate, and that the code has not expired. If the code is correct, then it is likely that your order does not meet the restrictions stated in our fine print.
Gift Certificate Already Redeemed: If you are receiving an error message stating that the gift certificate has already been redeemed, and you believe this not to be the case, email customer support for assistance or call 1 (651) 487 2180
Here is a full list of restrictions.
- Gift certificates should be spent within 18 months from the date of issuance, which is the "spend by" date included on the gift certificate. Gift certificate holders will be given an additional 6-month grace period to spend their gift certificates, and gift certificates will expire two years from the date of issuance, which is the "expires" date included on the gift certificate.
- Some states may extend or void the expiration date. Expiration dates do not apply in CA, CT, NH, LA, MD, MA, ME, MT, ND, OK, RI, WA, and VT. Expiration dates do not apply in any other state solely to the extent as prohibited or limited by law.
- Gift certificates must be redeemed through the DragonDoor.com Web site, http://www.dragondoor.com, or by calling 1-800-899-5111, toward the purchase of eligible products.
- Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase gift certificates.
- Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund, except to the extent required by law.
- A gift certificate's total value must be redeemed on a single order.
- If your order exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you must pay for the balance with a credit card.
- Gift certificates and their use on the DragonDoor.com web site are subject to Dragondoor.com's general Terms and Conditions.
- The risk of loss and title for gift certificates pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.
- DragonDoor.com will have the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained gift certificate is either redeemed through the DragonDoor.com Web site or is redeemed and used to make purchases on the DragonDoor.com Web site.
