Forest Vance, M.S., Certified Personal Trainer and RKC, is a Sacramento based trainer dedicated to utilizing his experience and knowledge to get his clients results! He holds a Master of Science in Human Movement from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona, in addition to being a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and American College of Sports Medicine. He also is a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

He has about five years of experience as a personal trainer and fitness manager and has serviced more than five thousand career training sessions, successfully working with a wide variety of clientele.

He also has experience as a high school, college and pro athlete, being a three-time All-American football player at the University of California, Davis and being on the opening day training camp rosters of the Green Bay Packers (2004) and Kansas City Chiefs (2005).

10/10 Kettlebell Training: Simply Amazing!

I used to believe that some jogging and stretching are good enough for me to keep a good body shape and have a healthier lifestyle. But when I realized that some of my friends who had kettlebell training achieved better results than what I do, I was easily convinced to try it myself. So, I joined Forest?s kettlebell training and within a week, I noticed significant changes in my belly. The training amazingly gets rid of my belly fats! In a couple of weeks, I already trimmed of an inch in my hips and I can feel that my arms are now more capable to lift heavy objects just like my boyfriend?s dumbbells.

Back then, I never really believed that kettlebells will let me shed the same amount of calories compared to jogging in the countryside. I was a huge cardio fan and I never did other exercise methods, except stretching of course. Ever since I started an intense kettlebell training routine, my lifestyle changed for the better. My body burned a lot of calories and I was able to run longer miles than expected. I enjoyed kettlebell trainings a lot and I am looking forward to try new weights. Well, there are times when I preferred kettlebell trainings over cardio. With an inspiring and very skilled trainer, what can possibly go wrong?

Excellent kettlebell trainer! I had done a little training on my own before I found Forest. He coached me up on my form and now I can tackle more complicated exercises with ease. His fast paced combinations are a great cardio workout and leave me feeling smoked!

Having never really done any weight training before, I was hesitant to start up a kettlebell regiment. Forest did a great job of breaking down each exercise into step by step movements so that I could confidently understand what I needed to do. I am now addicted to kettlebells and so glad I had such a great introduction.

Joining a gym was a new world - one where I needed huge guidance, support .. and a good humored trainer to hold me accountable. I was lucky enough to screw up my 1st scheduled orientation with another trainer - resulting in a 2nd appt. with Forest. He had great character, plans, workable routines and the patience of a saint. He challenged me to achieve more, introduced me to the infamous Kettle Bell (love at first sight!)and was professional about working around my hectic restaurant schedule! If you want a fabulous trainer - someone who won't let you shirk but will understand scheduling issues (handled with courtesy to his schedule too!)- he's totally it! You won't believe the changes he can help you make!

I was pretty skeptical about introducing kettlebells into my fitness routine. As someone who was looking for a simple weight-training program, the kettlebells seemed intimidating. Forest was patient with me and clearly explained how to do each exercise and the purpose behind everything we were doing. His extensive knowledge of physical training, and more specifically kettlebell drills, made me feel comfortable trying new exercises. Since I started working with Forest on a kettlebell fitness program, I have noticed increased strength in my arms and legs and have an all-around easier time performing daily tasks.
