I had tried doing kettlebells by myself and ended up hurting myself. In addition, I did not get the full benefit. Faizal addressed both of those issues, and now I get full benefit safely from doing Kettlebell exercizes.

Faizal was very cordial and helpful in teaching me the kettlebell basics, swings, press, turkish get-ups. I watched videos on youtube beforehand to get an idea of what it was like but without Faizal giving me cues and pointers I would have been completely lost. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area looking to learn about kettlebell workouts.

Years ago when I met Faizal I didn't know that I could or that I would be doing the things I am doing now. I never thought that I would deadlift over 400lbs. I never thought I could strictly press 96lbs over my head, with an awkward leverage due to holding two kettlebells. I never thought I would be snatching, for reps, a 32kg kettlebell. I never thought I could snatch a kettlebell, with 15 seconds of rest between sets, for around 25 minutes. I also never thought I would be doing clean and jerks for reps with a pair of 32kg bells.

Back then, I couldn't press a 32kg bell for more than three reps. Forget a double press. Back then my deadlift was a hundred pounds less. Back then I was terrified to snatch a 32kg kettlebell. Differences between then and now are astounding. You readers, do the math.

I was new to kettle bells when I started with Faizal at the USF kettle bell club. I was looking for a new way to work out that wasn't just in the gym same old routine every other day. When I came out he helped me so much with his knowledge of not only how to do the work outs, but where it was working on my body, he also helped me with my eating habbits by telling me what to eat and what not to eat. If I wanted to work just a specific part of my body he would give me different workouts that would help that. From cardio to building muscle Faizal knew what to do and explained it clearly and perfectly. He's a great trainer and won of the best in my opinion. He will help you out if you are looking for a good trainer to change your body and lifestyle.

I have been training with Faizal for about 2 months now and I am already seeing great results. He has a very knowledgeable approach to teaching and always takes the time to explain why we do specific things. This attention to detail and willingness to educate instead of just trying to force you through makes for a much more enjoyable workout.

What makes Fiazal an amazing instructor is how he stresses that he is right there with you and is gonna help push you through when you come to a wall. An example of this, a couple weeks into learning Kettlebell I had to do 400 swings as part of my workout for the day and it was the end of the workout. I was pretty much dead when I got to 350 and was lagging behind everyone else. I was about ready to quit when Faizal picked up a 70 pound bell and told me that he was gonna snatch it until I finished my last 50 swings, and that we were there to support eachother reach our goals. I immediately picked up the bell I was working with and pushed out those last 50 swings.

As stated in the title, I started out as a skinny, nerdy White kid before I started doing kettle-bells with Faizal. After about 4 months of working out 3 days a week under his instruction, I've noticed results far beyond anything I had expected. I can see muscles in my back and shoulders now that I didn't know I had. I had trouble pressing a 35lbs bell when I started and now I regularly double press and do ladders with the 50lbs and am working on putting up the 70lbs. He's been outstandingly helpful. Highly recommended.

Fiazel knows his stuff. He isn't merely showing you what he saw on a work out video somewhere, he knows what muscles you are working and why. He is a master diagnostician, able to pin point why you may not be able to perform a certain maneuver, or motion and can tell you exactly how to work that area to improve the strength and flexibility of that joint or muscle. He is always open to new idea's and workouts, as well as always driving to improve himself and set new personal records, a drive that keeps me motivated as well. Fiazel has improved all of my kettle bell forms and techniques, I have noticeable strength and endurance increases, and the workouts Fiazel helps to lead are challenging while still remaining fun.

Faizal not only gave me great instruction in the proper use of the kettlebell, he took the time to do a thorough examination of my physical strengths and limitations through a series of drills, so that he could really personalize and construct the most effective workout plan for me. He is a patient and highly motivating instructor, who also followed up with me after my workout with additional comments and suggestions. He is very, very particular about proper form which is important to both prevent injury and optimize performance. Thanks Faizal!

Although I have only been training with kettlebells for a little under two months with Faizal, already my form has been improved greatly, I can work much more than when I started, and physical results are already evident due to his training. He is very clear with what can help you to improve, always explains the techniques he's training you in, and is always making sure that you are performing to your best while not overworking you. Thanks to Faizal, I am improving at a rate much faster than if I did not have his help.

I enjoyed my lessons on Saturday, Faizal is a wonderful instructor. His own accomplishments with the kettlebell puts his instructions where his mouth is. I wasn't sure of my form before I went and that is why I attended his class, so he corrected me on technique. It gave me a better perception of what I was doing. When my hamstrings recuperate, I will start following his instructions. If I ever get into a conversation with anyone about the kettlebell I will recommend him.

I started working out at 42 years of age after years of laziness. Faizal took me in hand and gave me a structured workout routine that alternated upper and lower body workouts with core exercises on both. In just a few weeks I could feel a difference in my stamina and core strength. I was going to a club a bit further from my home until they opened up a closer branch but when the branch closer to my home opened its doors I continued to travel to the further branch to continue with Faizal. The attention to detail and personel touch that Faizal gives and the knowledge that is evident in his training more that makes up for the extra travel time.

I started practicing kettlebell a couple of months ago at the behest of a friend whom is what you would call a diehard. I met Faizal at my first session and knew from the get-go that I had crossed paths with a caring, competent and very proficient instuctor. It is evident that he has a passion for practicing kettlebell and this permeates through his training. The excitement is contagious and it therefore urges you to strive to achieve your goals. With each workout, he readily gauges your status and sets attainable goals for the workout, and guides you every step of the way to make sure that you do so in perfect form. He is very professional in addition to being very personable, and I recommend him to anyone who wants to be taught from the epitome of good instuctors.

I have been lifting ever since high school and I still lift today, but recently I have began training with kettlebells in order to not only become stronger but to also get an all around better workout. As stated I have lifted ever since I was 13 and i'm 24 now and I have never found anything more challenging and difficult than working with kettlebells. When I began I had terrible form and no technique I was constantly trying to muscle the weight and was having a difficult time learning to do the exercises correctly. After only two days of working with Faizal for an average of maybe half an hour my swing has improved dramatically and I now know how to clean a kettlebell correctly. He really breaks things down shows you how to do the exercises correctly and how if your bigger like me how to do them safer and correctly. He is an excellent instructor and if anyone has the opportunity to work with him they should surely take it in a heartbeat with no delay.

Words can't even begin to describe the success that my workout has reached through the instruction of Faizal. This man i very willing to work with any situation that you have and to help you get through it. he teaches things in a way that anyone can understand, and stresses key points which make any and every workout more successful.I've had several injuries that I've accumulated over the years through collegiate wrestling, and working with Faizal has enabled me to really regain the strength and the conditioning that I once had. Faizal is the best fitness trainer I've ever worked with, and his emphasis on kettlebells really causes me to WANT to workout. I would HIGHLY recommend this man.

Faizal was easy to work with and soon found my weaknesses. With his help I have made adjustments to my swings,cleans,presses,and Turkish Get Ups. I now feel ready to move next level.

I am a senior lady who has had a weight problem all my life. I was having medical problems from this weight and needed to do something about it. I had never exercised and did not have a clue how to go about it. Faizal has worked with me and taught me how to do full body work-outs, advised me on healthy eating and thanks to his excellent instructions as of todays date I have lost 82 pounds and have no reason not to believe that I will not reach my goal of a 100 pound weight lost. When ever I wasn't sure about anything he always had an answer for me. With his help I look forward to going to the gym and a new healthy life style. I know I couldn't have done it with out all his help and knowledge. He is a great young man and made exercise fun. Thanks Faizal I couldn't have done it without you.

I want to thank you for the training provided over the last three months. My goal was to compete and place well in the April 2009 Tactical Strength Challenge (www.tacticalstrengthchallenge.com ) and to ensure my body composition was not compromised by doing so. Both were achieved as my placing moved from 36th place to 5th place in the Open division while maintaining a weight in the mid-180 range.
My deadlift improved from 365 to 425 (60 pounds). My pullups improved from 16 to 19. My snatch count improved from 123 to 125. I am very pleased with the performance and am considering a move to the Elite division.

Your blend of Westside Barbell methods to help my deadlift was helpful, particular the heavy dose of good mornings and rack pulls. The speed deadlifts kept my form and speed in check. In addition, the renegade rows helped both my pullups and reinforced the need to stay tight which, as you stated, was my problem in prior competitions. Finally, the head position tweak aided the deadlift and the snatch numbers.

Faizal, you took the time to fully understand my strengths and weaknesses and that made a huge difference in program design. That is much appreciated. The regular training log review sessions minimized the issue of you living in the Tampa area while I live on the other side of the state.

I look forward to the next competition, your training guidance and hopefully competing with (and maybe against) you in the September 2009 Tactical Strength Challenge!

Recently, I poked my nose into a thread on the DragonDoor forum and asked Faizal for some ideas to improve my numbers in the RKC snatch test. My goal was to achieve 40/40 at a bodyweight in the 150s. My previous best was 30/30, and I wasn't even in good enough shape to repeat that at the time (maybe 25/25 on a good day).

Expecting only a few tips (for which I would have been very grateful), what I actually received from Faizal was a thorough, 9-week program written FOR ME, with all of the exercises, sets and repetitions spelled out in detail. More importantly, he also provided rationale for the exercises themselves, as well as the order in which I was to perform them. This made me a more intelligent lifter, as I was able to grasp the reasons behind his method and make his method my own.

Faizal is a strong man, and an intelligent, thorough and articulate coach. All I did was ask him for a little help, and he gave me all the tools I needed, without hesitation. I am blown away by his generosity. I snatched for 40/40 today at a bodyweight of 157, 9 weeks later.

If I could rate him an 11, I would.

Faizal's method of instruction was clear cut and very lucid. I have been kettlebelling for about two years now, and still learned a great deal from him. People in the Tampa area would do well to hire Mr. Enu (especially the yuppies living in his area--Bayshore). With his lucid style, clear explanations he earned his ten.
