I had tried doing kettlebells by myself and ended up hurting myself. In addition, I did not get the full benefit. Faizal addressed both of those issues, and now I get full benefit safely from doing Kettlebell exercizes.

I heard about Faizal from am Executive in New Orleans that has researched this type of program thoroughly. He helped me find someone that is an expert in the field, and that is what Faizal is! He is knowledgable; very very very helpful; extremely kind; and I can't wait to learn more. He even made it fun. After my first private lesson, I decided to sign up for boot camp. Faizal was very cordial and helpful in teaching me the kettlebell basics, swings, press, turkish get-ups. I watched videos on youtube beforehand to get an idea of what it was like but without Faizal giving me cues and pointers I would have been completely lost. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area looking to learn about kettlebell workouts.

Years ago when I met Faizal I didn't know that I could or that I would be doing the things I am doing now. I never thought that I would deadlift over 400lbs. I never thought I could strictly press 96lbs over my head, with an awkward leverage due to holding two kettlebells. I never thought I would be snatching, for reps, a 32kg kettlebell. I never thought I could snatch a kettlebell, with 15 seconds of rest between sets, for around 25 minutes. I also never thought I would be doing clean and jerks for reps with a pair of 32kg bells.
Back then, I couldn't press a 32kg bell for more than three reps. Forget a double press. Back then my deadlift was a hundred pounds less. Back then I was terrified to snatch a 32kg kettlebell. Differences between then and now are astounding. You readers, do the math.

I was new to kettle bells when I started with Faizal at the USF kettle bell club. I was looking for a new way to work out that wasn't just in the gym same old routine every other day. When I came out he helped me so much with his knowledge of not only how to do the work outs, but where it was working on my body, he also helped me with my eating habbits by telling me what to eat and what not to eat. If I wanted to work just a specific part of my body he would give me different workouts that would help that. From cardio to building muscle Faizal knew what to do and explained it clearly and perfectly. He's a great trainer and won of the best in my opinion. He will help you out if you are looking for a good trainer to change your body and lifestyle.

I have been training with Faizal for about 2 months now and I am already seeing great results. He has a very knowledgeable approach to teaching and always takes the time to explain why we do specific things. This attention to detail and willingness to educate instead of just trying to force you through makes for a much more enjoyable workout.
What makes Fiazal an amazing instructor is how he stresses that he is right there with you and is gonna help push you through when you come to a wall. An example of this, a couple weeks into learning Kettlebell I had to do 400 swings as part of my workout for the day and it was the end of the workout. I was pretty much dead when I got to 350 and was lagging behind everyone else. I was about ready to quit when Faizal picked up a 70 pound bell and told me that he was gonna snatch it until I finished my last 50 swings, and that we were there to support eachother reach our goals. I immediately picked up the bell I was working with and pushed out those last 50 swings.

As stated in the title, I started out as a skinny, nerdy White kid before I started doing kettle-bells with Faizal. After about 4 months of working out 3 days a week under his instruction, I've noticed results far beyond anything I had expected. I can see muscles in my back and shoulders now that I didn't know I had. I had trouble pressing a 35lbs bell when I started and now I regularly double press and do ladders with the 50lbs and am working on putting up the 70lbs. He's been outstandingly helpful. Highly recommended.

Fiazel knows his stuff. He isn't merely showing you what he saw on a work out video somewhere, he knows what muscles you are working and why. He is a master diagnostician, able to pin point why you may not be able to perform a certain maneuver, or motion and can tell you exactly how to work that area to improve the strength and flexibility of that joint or muscle. He is always open to new idea's and workouts, as well as always driving to improve himself and set new personal records, a drive that keeps me motivated as well. Fiazel has improved all of my kettle bell forms and techniques, I have noticeable strength and endurance increases, and the workouts Fiazel helps to lead are challenging while still remaining fun.

Faizal not only gave me great instruction in the proper use of the kettlebell, he took the time to do a thorough examination of my physical strengths and limitations through a series of drills, so that he could really personalize and construct the most effective workout plan for me. He is a patient and highly motivating instructor, who also followed up with me after my workout with additional comments and suggestions. He is very, very particular about proper form which is important to both prevent injury and optimize performance. Thanks Faizal!

Although I have only been training with kettlebells for a little under two months with Faizal, already my form has been improved greatly, I can work much more than when I started, and physical results are already evident due to his training. He is very clear with what can help you to improve, always explains the techniques he's training you in, and is always making sure that you are performing to your best while not overworking you. Thanks to Faizal, I am improving at a rate much faster than if I did not have his help.
