With Win2000 and WinXP, your logon must have administrator privledges to install an ebook. Other Windows operating systems may also restrict writing to the System Registry.
If you now have access to a User account with administrator privledges and want to redo the installation - Email the webmaster and ask for a Renewal
2. I upgraded Acrobat (or Acrobat Reader) and now my ebook will not open. What should I do?
This problem is related to the plug-in used by Adobe Reader to decrypt your digital book. The solution depends on the version of Adobe Reader you are now using. We recommend using the latest version of Adobe Reader and the simple upgrade solution provided below.
Adobe Reader (current version)
Download and run the required plug-in installer (foClientInstaller.exe) which you can download here.
The plug-in installer will ask you to close Adobe Reader if it is open. Once the plug-in has been installed Adobe Reader will be able to decrypt your digital book.
Adobe Reader 5 or 6
The solution for these versions of Adobe Reader requires you manually install the plug-in in the appropriate plug-ins directory.
The file fOpen32.api must be in the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug_ins directory

Save the file in the new Acrobat Reader plug-ins directory

When the download is complete, select the Close button.

Open Acrobat Reader and under Edit/Preferences/Startup make sure "Certified Plug-ins Only" is UNCHECKED.

Open your ebook by double clicking on the .pdf file in the directory where you saved the setup file

Ebook authorization permissions are stored in the system registry. Re-installing or Upgrading can overwrite or corrupt the registry entries. - Email the webmaster and ask for a Renewal The renewal request should be sent from the email address used when the order was placed. The "From:" address of the email will be used to generate a new OrderID. If you no longer have access to that email address please email the webmaster with the details.
