10/10 The most intense workout I've ever done!

By Scott Sullivan / Cave Creek, AZ USA

I've been using the TRX for just over 2 years now and have enjoyed everything from the TRX Force Training DVD, to the Total Strength DVD and many in-between. I came from a weight lifting background and now at 49 years of age I sure wish I had discovered the TRX about 30 years ago! Weight lifting is basically and ego driven endeavor with very little functional biomechanical benefit going on, it's geared towards those folks who spend as much time looking in the mirror as they doing exercising. The kettle bell workout combined with the TRX, and the kettle bell routine by itself for that matter, will kick your ass! And I mean that sincerely! This workout when done at the advanced level with a 54 pound bell is incredible and it will defiantly work your entire body to the max! The other reviews are correct in stating the form needed to correctly maneuver the kettle bell is very critical and an honest amount of prep work must be devoted to learning the correct form before attempting the workout even with a light weight bell. Now after less than 2 months of kettle bell training I have worked my way up to the advanced level with a 54 pound bell. My goal is to be able to complete this workout with a 70 pound bell before I have reached the 12 month mark. Not bad for a nearly 50 year old former Marine. Kettle bells? Hell yes!!!!!! You better believe it.

Well done!! I have already taken the TRX Group Fitness Class in Orlando 2 weeks ago. We are starting new classes at studio and Chris from Fitness anywhere was happy to have someone at his workshop who has already seen the New TRX Kettlebell DVD.
And was able to talk about your new adventure!! With TRX!

10/10 A Total Body Workout From Head To Toe In One Hour

By Don B / Mooresville, Ind USA

I just finished my first TRX Kettlebell workout and I thought it was great. The instruction was second to none. It was very easy to match my fitness level with the workout. The stretching with the TRX at the end of the workout felt great. I am a college student and I do not have time to go to a gym, this workout will get you and keep you in shape.

1/10 Not Impressed at all

By Chris Hope / Va. Beach

I was so excited when I heard about this title, pre-ordering it. I wish I had waited. I've had a TRX for 2 years, and kettlebells for a year. So I was at least proficient in both disciplines. I was excited about how Pavel would combine the two with new combinations I'd never thought of to try. Boy, was I disappointed! If you know anything about kettlebells or TRX you don't need this dvd.

If you have ETK or any of the TRX dvd's, you are more than covered. Sure the production value is top notch compared to other DragonDoor titles, but that's the only positive for this way overpriced coaster. The dvd shows 20 exercises-18 TRX and 2 kettlebell! A lunge holding a kettlebell is not exactly groundbreaking. I couldn't believe I paid $40.00 for this. Word to the wise. If you want to combine kb's and TRX, this dvd is a waste of money. ETK is superior to this as far as kb's. And any video from the Fitness Anywhere website will save you the money on this DVD. I know now why there aren't many reviews of Iron Circuit, because it's not good at all, especially for the money.

It pains me to give such a negative review, but DragonDoor products are often overpriced in my opinion, and I have bought a great many of them. Until now, I have been mostly satisfied with my DD purchases, (Convict Conditioning, ETK, KB Goddess, Extreme Cardio, Kb's From The Ground Up, Viking Warrior, plus 3 kb's) So I have spent enough money to render an opinion. And as a service to others, I had to say what I really thought of this DVD. Save your money.

1/10 Completely unsatisfied!

I was under the impression that Pavel, being the GURU he is, would have produced something more authentic. Their was absolutley nothing impressive about this video or even different than any prior DVD made by TRX or Pavel. Pathetic is all I can say...I hope your next video will STANDOUT from the others. Best wishes for your future DVD's.

10/10 Terrific! Excellent! All around great value!

I used the TRX Kettlebell Iron Circuit Conditioning DVD for the first time today. I had only 30 minutes to exercise, however, found myself going on and on...for a whole hour and more!!! The exercises work all parts of your body and I love the 3 levels offered - beginner, intermediate and advanced. Though the DVD shows Fitness Level: Intermediate to Advanced, and I consider myself a beginner, I was able to complete the whole workout. The different instructors with their different styles kept the training very interesting. The pace was just right and the detail instruction was superb! After trying for over a year, I have today captured the "Kettlebell Get Up" - thanks to the way it was presented on this DVD.

6/10 Pavel is entertaining

By DBT / SF Bay Area

as usual in this DVD. But it tries to cover too much ground in a short period of time to get to the workout. I have used kettlebells for about three years and TRX for a year. I used certified trainers for both in the beginning, and still train with an RKC regularly. The learning curve with kettlebells is much steeper than the TRX and the consequences of poor technique potentially far more harmful. I don't see anyone who has not trained supervised mastering tgu's with this dvd. I think there is an equal or greater likelihood that people will develop poor technique that will have to be fixed later. Combining the two modalities results in a great workout, but people should not skip the basics to get there. Party line, if you want to learn how to use kettlebells, see an RKC. Adding the TRX does not change that.
