So, when I popped on Kettlebells for Power Athletes and saw that we were going to have joint mobility work and some swings, I thought to myself, "This was a good idea when I planned this idea. That was then, this is now.' However, Jeff O'Connor and Brett Jones's explanations and masterful demonstrations kept my class focused and organized. In fact, they enjoyed the obvious serious athletic feats that dominate this 45-minute DVD.

Certainly, many of us need a refresher course in joint mobility and the technical insights of the pressing section are well worth one's time. However, in the sections on Weighted Join Mobility and Swing Variations, we are now walking on virgin territory. There are ideas and moves that I have never even thought of nor, obviously, experienced or taught. Often, a book will discuss great concepts, and the internet is loaded with ideas that may or may not take your training to the next level, but a DVD can SHOW you how to apply these new thoughts.

I would want to say that this DVD is for advanced athletes only, but watching the reaction of my class, I would argue that this should be shown to all levels. There is a pathway to greatness here and ideas that any person can add to their training. Brett and Jeff take you through some simple and not-so-simple mobility drills followed by exercises guaranteed to add pounds to your lifts. I can hardly wait to add all that I learned (so much to absorb I found myself writing everything down) to my workouts in preparation for my next meet in July. All you powerlifters and strongmen out there must get this DVD. And for all you more advanced KB enthusiasts this DVD is guaranteed to take you to another level.

For those of you who train with kettlebells to strictly work on your cardio and endurance or to lose weight, this is probably not the DVD for you.
