Education: B.S. in Physical Education. Certifications: Russian Kettlebell Certified Level 2 (RKCII) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through NASM I have been working with weights for 14 years and started training people 10 years ago. I fell in love with kettlebells the first time they were introduced to me, so I immediately signed up and attended the September 2008 RKC and while there, I became one of the few to "Tame the Beast". The experience was a life changing event. So I signed up for Level 2 in June 2009 and it was an even more amazing. I was honored to be invited back as an assistant instructor at the September 2009 RKC. It was a great time and look forward to instructing at the certification again. 10/10 A BEAST OF A MAN!

By Doug Nepodal, Sr. RKC / Ventura CA

I had the honor of having Dustin on my team at the Sept. RKC. He is a very knowledgeable trainer and a great guy. He is a welcome addition to the RKC family. I'm expecting Dustin to go far in the RKC world.

10/10 Kettlebells have made the difference in my workouts

By Alex Demers / Chicago, IL USA

I have been training with Dustin since July 2008 and in September of 2008 we started incorporating Kettlebells in my weekly sessions.

I believe that Kettlebells have made the difference in my workouts and time spent in the gym. I have seen drastic positive improvements in my physique, endurance, strength and flexibility. While my goal is not to "bulk" up it is to gain overall body strength while slimming down. Dustin has tailored my workouts with Kettlebells to fit my needs as a petite 5'1" woman who wants to lean out and focus on toning up.

10/10 Hate the Pain, but there is gain!

By Michael Morris / Chicago, Illinois

Like many, I HATE working out. I know and experienced the pleasures afterwards, both physically and mentally, but just hard to get motivated. After a 3 year hiatus, I went back to training sessions this past fall of '08 with Dustin Miller. After a few sessions, Dustin began to introduce Kettlebells slowly. At 1st I was skeptical and complained , like with all other exercises. But after 3 months of having Kettlebells being incorporated, I find myself actually enjoying working with them, in fact I have spent days with no scheduled sessions working out with kettlebells on my own....Go figure! My energy has increased, my body is in better shape, I've lost weight, and move much easier without pain, except,of course, when I'm pushing thru a kettlebell session....But it is worth it! Dustin's training technique is fantastic in that he is always pushing alittle more, without me realizing just how much. The overall benefits I am receiving from Dustin's kettlebell workouts are greater than any other training session I've had with other trainers, and I actually look forward to the workout!!!!

9/10 Pain well worth it!!!!!!

If you want a GREAT full body workout kettle bell is it. Kettle bell has slimed me down and toned me up. Again great workout with a great instructor!!!!!

10/10 Kettlebells ROCK!!!

By Tim Cooper / Chicago, IL

I started with Dustin in February 2011 after having begun my weight loss journey through another program. I had made some good progress but from everything I had read or seen on YouTube, was interested in ramping things up with kettlebell training. I went to Dragondoor and found Dustin here in Chicago and have been hooked ever since. Although it sounds cliche', I am truly in the best shape of my life at 43y/o. Dustin is patient and competent trainer and takes the time with each of us in the class to tweak our form and push us to progress further. I believe that kettlebells will forever be the foundation of my physical fitness routine and am confident that I am using them safely and effectively thanks to Dustin.

10/10 Fantastic Class!

By Jason P / Chicago, IL

I have only been in Dustin's Kettlebell Bootcamp for about two months, but I look forward to every single class from the moment the last one ends. Dustin has done a great job helping me with my form, and introducing me to my favorite new method of training. The skills I have learned in this class are going to stay with me for the rest of my life. I highly recommend this class to people of all skill levels. I had never touched a kettlebell before my first class, and I'm already using 20 and 24kg bells for certain exercises. I am positive that an experienced girevik would benefit just as much as I have. I cannot say enough good things about Dustin or his bootcamp class, so if anyone has any questions or wants to know more about it feel free to drop me a line.

10/10 Results beyond the bootcamp

By Sean McGill / Chicago, IL

I've always been more into running than working out, but that all changed when I started taking Dustin's kettlebell bootcamp classes. After just 5 weeks I could feel my body changing and my clothes were fitting better. In addition to the two 45-minute bootcamps each week, I've incorporated Dustin's joint manipulation warm-up into my running routine. Before I stretch, I warm up my ankles, knees and hips and there is a noticeable difference in my ability to run farther, faster and more often. Because of Dustin's instruction, I have a clearer understanding of how my body works and why certain movements are more beneficial (or detrimental) than others. I've signed up for an additional 10 sessions and can't wait to see the results in another 5 weeks.

10/10 Real Work

By Adam Morris / Chicago

When I started with kettlebells, I thought they were a pointless alternative to dumbbells. As a teenager I played tennis competitively, and a large part of my training regimen took place in the gym. I had a trainer who had me work with barbells and dumbbells and med balls and so on, and I was very serious about it and trained very hard. So just looking at kettlebells, I really couldn't understand why doing a snatch with them--as opposed to a dumbbell--was at all worthwhile. Then my trainer started asking me to do reps of 8 and up, and suddenly I became all too aware of how much time I wasted earlier in my life with conventional training. Working with kettlebells is like doing functional barbell or dumbbell work while running on a treadmill: it's real work that yields real results. The best part is that, like a good video game, it's easy to learn and challenging to master. My most satisfying workouts have been with kettlebells; I can now feel myself becoming legitimately fit.

10/10 You'll become a better man

By Patrick Robey / Chicago, IL

I just finished ten sessions training with Dustin and focusing on kettlebell exercises.

I began from ground zero, having been given a kettlebell as a gift but really not knowing any of the basics. Dustin's instruction was informative as he helped explain many of the reasons why the movements and techniques were performed in a particular manner. It was incredibly instructive in that he paid close attention to all movements great and small to be sure there would be no injury or bad habits to hamper my progression. And really it was just enlightening to be given access to such a wealth of knowledge.

After ten sessions I am looking forward to more and highly recommend Dustin for taking your interest in kettlebells and strength training to your next level, whatever that may be. His passion for training and for TEACHING are worth your investment in yourself, and he's a consummate professional.

Cheers

10/10 Got Me Ready For The RKC

By Paul Lyngso, RKC / Chicago, IL

Dustin worked with me to help get me ready for the Feb 2010 RKC, and I couldn't have asked for a better coach.

He was spot on with his technique instruction; patient in explaining where I made errors and offering helpful cues on how to correct these mistakes.

When the time came for my RKC weekend, I felt 100% prepared, thanks to Dustin's instruction and preparation.

I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great trainer, whether you're going to the RKC or you're brand new to kettlebells.
