I attended the HKC in Buffalo. Doc Hartle was incredibly knowledgeable and demonstrated the material in an easy to understand format. He and Leslie Hand, RKC were very attentive to each individual and didn't let any flaws in technique go unnoticed. By pointing out my mistakes, I was easily able to correct them. If I had to be reminded to fix the same problem multiple times, then so be it. It greatly improved my technique and my ability to teach others. I couldn't have asked for more from Doc Hartle's instruction.

Dr. Mike was very organized and showed great integrity.. His professionalism through out the certification was backed by his knowledge of not only kettlebells but also his passion for the health and wellness field. He kept the the students on their toes with discipline and yet was lighthearted when he needed to be to deliver a message. It was a great balance throughout the course. Thank you Dr. Mike!

I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Hartle in March of 2012 in Buffalo. I was very impressed with his knowledge and instructor skills. He was very thorough and detail oriented. Doc's instruction was easy to follow and he made sure to give individual attention to everyone in the group. I would definitely recommend him to any fellow strength coach.

Doc Hartle was my team leader for RKC Level 2 in April of 2012. He did a fantastic job of providing the proper progression, coaching and learning opportunities for all the RKC Level 1 and 2 lifts. He was very patient with me in my progression and was pivotal in helping me to achieve my 1/2 body weight press.
He provided fantastic drills he developed to help us get the most out our our Nervous System to achieve the proper tension and form necessary to lift heavy and appropriately.
I would recommend Doc Hartle to anyone from my Grandmother to an elite athlete. I cannot thank him enough for all which he has taught me.

Dr. Hartle is an excellent presenter! His coaching techniques, postural and mechanical cues, corrections and recommendations make all the difference between a good and a great instructor. I have been through many workshop certifications where I was left disappointed by the quality of instruction and education materials presented. Dr. Hartle exemplifies the traits of a great instructor and he is by far one of the most passionate and involved presenters I have had the pleasure of learning from.

I happened to be up in the UP of Michigan with my Dad... also just so happened that Doc was putting on his Advanced Strength Workshop in Duluth... two hours away! Had to go!
The workshop was informative, practical, and Doc made it personal. He taught in a listen, watch, do format... which I love!
I was able to take many of his techniques home to PA to use personally.... after having abdominal surgery, Doc showed me do's and don'ts... which I applied for over a month now. I can say that the spinal flossing techniques, Hartle plank, and swing variations accelerated my recovery! I now have the green light to TRAIN again.... but will keep up with Doc's techniques.
I also applied these techniques and Doc's strength techniques to training with clients. They ate it up! One hubby and wife team would prob. send .... :( .... after they experienced Doc's bear crawls/ Hartle plank combo.... love it!
Thanks, Doc. We met in San Jose RKC 2009.... again, Duluth, 2010... looking forward to more!
If you have the opportunity, no matter your fitness knowledge or level, I would highly recommend Doc Hartle... as a chiro, coach, trainer, or workshop!!!
Respectfully,

This was an informative workshop that I hope Dr. Hartle makes into a full day. He presented some great new mobility drills, foam rolling techniques, and ideas for programming. Very hands on information that I have been able to use for my work right away. I enjoyed his attention to detail from an anatomy perspective. There were excellent handouts and demonstrations, and then time to practice. He has wonderful enthusiasm and knowledge for the subject matter - I loved it!
Thanks Doc!

I am lucky that Dr. Hartle was assigned as my RKC team leader. In my opinion, his passion for strength is paired with a strict adherence to RKC standards. His appreciation for the art and science of human movement resonated during his instruction. If I lived closer to him, it would be an honor to be one of his students. If you have the opportunity to train with him, do not pass it up.
10/10 TEAM HARTLE FOR LIFE
By Michele L Neil DO

Being a part of TEAM HARTLE was a profound and solid athletic event. I was well prepared ( that process was not easy)...I have to express how impressed I was with your commitment to keep the work safe and solid. The failure rate was the most impressive to me. It really, really, really established a new sense of respect for this art and the commitment to keep it high quality. Not just any one can do it. It is so important to uphold that standard and with the numbers growing I am so inspired to know that the quality and the fortitude of what is expected remains Un faltered and Un moveable. The bar is set high--
Also taking time away from your clinical practice to inspire and teach each and every one of us demonstrates your level of commitment

10/10 Epitome Of Awesomeness

Had it not been for Doc Hartle, I would have had to use my legs as my arms to make it through the RKC weekend. I have to thank my team leader, Jeff O?Connor for introducing me to Doc. I went into the weekend with a flared up elbow and a bad shoulder. Doc took the time, even after everyone else had left, to help. I felt safe pushing my limits knowing that Doc was around. People like Doc make me want to join the RKC family even more.
At the end of a long weekend, when everyone else would have run away as quickly as possible, Doc stayed to work on my arm on his time. How many people would be so kind? Doc was my savior during the weekend. I give my full endorsement to very few people, but Doc is one of the best, and I am extremely fortunate to have met him. Had I known about Doc Hartle when I lived in B'ton, IN, I would have driven the 180 miles to go work with him. If you get the opportunity to work with him, consider yourself blessed.
Doc Hartle is the epitome of a great doctor.

I had the honor and privilege of being a member of Team Hartle as an RKC assistant at the June 2010 RKC Level I Certification. I was completely blown away by how knowledgeable, attentive, supportive and humble a man Michael was. As a result I'm a much better instructor now having had a great opportunity to work along side Michael. And Michael walks the talk! This man is a tower of strength and a master of RKC school of strength. I cannot recommend Michael highly enough!

I attended the first ever HKC workshop in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on January 29, 2011, instructed by RKC Team Leaders Dr. Michael Hartle and Andrea U-Shi Chang. It was such a wonderful experience for me and I credit it to the expertise and knowledge of Dr. Michael Hartle and Andrea U-Shi Chang. Together as a team they were impeccable with their training and demonstrations. They were extremely disciplined and demanded the best from all participants, while at the same time, provided the right amount of humor and attentiveness to everyone. I can't thank them enough for the invaluable training I received. I'm honored to have been a part of Team Hartle-Chang.

That was the mantra at the June 2010 RKC for everything we did. But Doc isisted that EVERYTHING we do during the cert be our best. As RKC Team Leader, Doc Hartle provided a balance of demanding perfection and teaching at the same time. His leadership was exemplary and it inspired a close bond between Hartle team members. Doc was also attentive and giving to other RKC candidates not on his team, giving adjustments and treatments when needed, even if it kept him after hours. I'm proud to say I achieved my RKC with Team Hartle!

Doc brings the heat when he needs to with his tremendous knowledge and technique, but is quick with a smile or light hearted comment to "break the spell" when needed. Highly recommended as an instructor and trainer!! Part of a phenomenal experience at June 2010 RKC in St. Paul.

I had the honor of being a part of Team Hartle for the June 2010 RKC in St. Paul,MN. Very thorough and organized... With everything. Even down to the way we placed our kettlebells, bags and water. Doc Hartle will not settle for mediocrity. If you don't do everything right, he will fail you.
He was warm, friendly, funny and very approachable.

I had the pleasure of working with Doc Hartle at the 09 RKC in San Jose. Doc Hartle was patient and supportive. He's a big guy who carries his strength with modesty. I learned a lot because he kept it real, simple and yet it was still fun and easy going. He challanged me to be stronger and helped me dig deep. If I found myself in Fort Wayne, IN. you can bet your bottom dollar I'd train with Doc Hartle.

Dr. Hartle was my Team Leader at the San Jose RKC in February, 2008. He has a great wealth of knowledge and understanding of the body's biomechanics and shares his kettlebell expertise in a clear, easy to grasp way that will improve everyone's technique and efforts. He was very supportive during the training and knows how to motivate you to new levels of achievement.
