I have known Danyelle for around 8 years now and I have always been impressed with her intelligence, ability to critically think and passion for excellence in what she chooses to do.

She first started in the strength and conditioning world as a regular client and quickly transformed into an athlete and student. She immediately excelled as a client and athlete because of her incredibly determined focus to be her very best and her strong commitment level to achieving greatness within herself.

In fact these are the qualities that define her life and the type of person she has become. No matter what she has chosen to do in her life she has always brought these qualities to the tasks and activities and has continually become one of the best at what she chooses to do.

Therefore its no surprise that when she decided to shift into a career in the strength and conditioning industry that she immediately applied her strong commitment to excellence and superior focus to being the very best strength and conditioning professional she can be.

She has a unique intelligence allowing her to understand complex information and if she doesn't understand something she uses that driven focus she posses to take what she doesn't know and become proficient at it.

Very few people in any industry take pride in doing what it takes to be their very best at what they do. Very few will constantly strive to be better for themselves and the people they work with. Danyelle is one of those few people.

10/10 Challenging, Fun and Intense!

Danyelle is a rare find, a fitness instructor with just the right mix of qualities to keep students challenged, interested, and on target. Kettle bell exercise is intense and requires a tremendous amount of focus in order to avoid injury and to get the most benefit from a routine. One of the things I like the most about Danyelle is that fact that she does not have a military drill instructor style, yet after her class I feel like I’ve been worked over by one, and it feels great! If she stood in front of the class and barked at us for 30 minutes to fix our posture and tighten our abs and butts, that would get old. However, the constant attention to those kinds of details is necessary so she has to do it somehow. Fortunately for her students, Danyelle has a unique, empathetic, and creative style of criticism that let’s you know you need to fix what she’s telling you, and at the same time you feel glad she’s there doing it. She never tires of trying to figure out ways of helping students fix something. One ‘trick’ that helped me keep my latts engaged was that she told me to imagine that I was trying to keep a small ball pinned in my armpits and to not let it drop as I was swinging my kettle bell. Might seem like a strange suggestion, but it was very easy to imagine and extremely effective, and I still think about it during every class. As for her proficiency, when Danyelle swings a kettle bell it is immediately clear that she’s controlling the weight, not the other way around. Her technique and form are at a higher level, and you feel like if you keep doing what she’s telling you that you’ll get there. If you lack for inspiration in Danyelle’s class then you are asleep! But don’t take my word for it, come to one of her classes and experience her infections positive attitude for yourself.

Danyelle Berger is a first rate instructor in every way. She obviously lives what she teaches and loves what she does, which is inspirational and motivating. I joined Danyelle's FastBurn 30 Kettlebell class a few months ago, and am totally hooked! Danyelle carefully demonstrates and explains the proper technique and form for each move, she keeps the class fresh by changing up the routine and incorporating new moves on a regular basis, and she keeps a close eye on each student to make sure our posture, weight selection and technique are correct, all while keeping the class moving at a fast pace. FB30 Kettlebell is a tough class, but Danyelle has kept me coming back not only for the core strength I am building, but for the mental toughness I need to regain. She called me out in my first class, when I was having a moment of self-doubt. She walked over and planted herself in front of me and told me “Never say ‘I’ll try,’ say ‘I’ll do it!’” I knew that, of course, but I needed to hear it in that moment and she had spotted me from the other side of the room. She is a very tuned-in instructor! I have never gained so much benefit from one exercise class in my life, both physically and mentally. The burn literally lasts for 3 days after each workout. Each week my core gets stronger, and I am seeing more definition. After 10 not entirely consecutive weeks of Danyelle’s class, 30 minutes, once a week, I have found my waist again for the first time in 5 years. Danyelle is not only concerned about us in class, but has talked to us about nutrition pre and post workout to maximize the benefit. I am very impressed with her level of professionalism, knowledge, and her upbeat spirit. I plan to continue training with her for as long as I can. I would and do recommend Danyelle’s class to anyone who will listen.

I came to Danyelle to learn about Kettlebells in order to introduce them at a club in downtown Baltimore, 10 minutes from Danyelle's studio. Danyelle was instantly on board and encouraged me to get as many trainers as possible to come along with me so she could spread the Kettlebell love. There was no apprehension of the potential for competition, no limitations on time due to the holidays (or the fact that she was sick as a dog that week!), and definitely no "attitude", which I was kidof expecting (sorry Danyelle!) because of the hard ass intensity it must take to master this skill.... and also, if I looked like her, I think I would definitely have an attitude- she can kick anyone's ass in a heartbeat.

The day of our training, we were all very excited to learn something new, but had no idea how challenging Kettlebells would be. Danyelle is a wealth of information and was patient while we asked a million questions before she got us into the grit of actually using the equipment. Her enthusiasm and understanding of Kettlebells is truly inspiring- we all left wanting more... a lot more!!! I can't thank Danyelle enough for being so accommodating and wonderful to work with. She is hilarious and extremely personable. I am looking forward to many more sessions with Danyelle!

I'm 50, will be 51 in a few days. Joined, reluctantly in early October because I was concerned about injuring my muscles, which I had a track record of doing. After speaking with Gary, the owner he assured me the trainers would keep a good eye on my form and he suggested I start with kettlebell classes. That was a hit to my ego because I always thought it a class for women. Well I decided to do the kettlebell class and it was really the best thing for me. First Danyell, is a very entertaining trainer and kept me smiling in between set's, when she was not kicking my ass. Although, on a few occasions she got me to laugh while she was kicking my ass. The workouts pushed me further then I would ever go on my own. But the biggest improvement seems to be in my posture. My shoulders are more upright, legs more centrered over my hips. That alone might have solved years of bad posture and just at the right point in my life, where it could have gotten much worse. I've been able to benefit from Danyell's experience. Thanks, Danyell.

I was looking for an exercise class that fit my schedule so I joined Danyelle's Kettle Bell class. WOW, what a workout!!
I was extremely impressed with Danyelle's let's work hard teaching style. She ensures each student has proper form, posture, footing and weight selection. All of this is done with enthusiasm and a positive energy that makes you want to come back for more. She inspires me to push myself and select the proper pre/post workout meals to achieve maximum results. I look forward to each class. I admit it, Danyelle has made me a "swingaholic".

I've loved kettlebells for a long time, and i've used them with my clients and on my own! I didn't have a clue what I was missing until I met Danyelle! Goodbye American Kettlebells and hello "hard style!" I learned how to swing through books and DVDs, and I quickly learned what I had missed! I love strength training, and to add in the kettlebell, is amazing, fun-filled workout, and so challenging!!

Danyelle's ambition and knowledge of kettlebells, combined with her personality full of spunk, is the perfect combination for a class filled with sweat and a great workout. She wants you to have the perfect form, as well as be completely obnoxious with your breathing to ensure that you're executing the moves properly.

Danyelle has inspired my friend to become more healthy and stronger, and she has completely inspired me to pursue a certification of my own.

Basically, SHE ROCKS!

After bodybuilding at the gym for almost 6 years, things were getting old and stagnant. I tried a kettle bell class with Danyelle and it woke my body up in ways that I never could have imagined. Who would have ever thought that a cast iron ball with a handle could provide a total body workout?! Add Danyelle to the mix with her never ending enthusiasm and love for the kettle bell and you have got yourself one heck of a work out! Nothing a weight lifting session at the gym could ever duplicate might I add.

Danyelle's enthusiasm that she puts into her classes has worn off on me and inspired me to persue the science of kettlebells and conquer the Russian Kettlebell Challenge myself. She had mentored me through the process and given me the confidence I needed to attain my goals; and now not only has it changed the way I train but it has also changed my body composition in kettle beller could have fathomed! Hello 6 pack for the first time in my life; and I've got some killer guns to bring to the party as well!

As you can tell from her bio, Danyelle's background as an investment broker and concert pianist is not what you'd expect from most fitness professionals. Her diverse background and accomplishment add to her style as a coach and trainer. Danyelle studies the intricacies of fitness, then masters it down to amazing details and then shares her knowledge in a fun and exciting manner. I've been training with Danyelle for years, and I find her to be an inspiration and a true professional.

Week after week, Danyelle is able to design a kick-ass kettlebell workout that never fails to be a challenge. I've been taking her classes for a year now, and I'm STILL sore after every class. As an instructor, she is fun and motivational. She is so positive and upbeat...that really helps with such a hard workout. I have been looking for a good workout routine for quite a while.My DVD's bore me after a while. I really like to walk or jog ,but that became a chore since I have young children.

My children began taking a class at the Baltimore Martial Arts Academy ,and there was this lady trying to encourage me to take a Kettlebell Class. I have to tell that you I was a little apprehensive because I am not familiar with weights as it pertains to "my" working out. She was so nice,and I was looking for something that would help diminish the parts of me that I do not like. I took the class and it was awesome. Danyelle was totally encouraging and not embarassing ,as my form was wrong. She was very patient and explained the steps as many times as I needed in order for me to get it done correctly. She was great at seeing the potential in me ,and pushing me to reach it. I am so grateful for her encouraging me to take her class that day to take her class. I encourage many people that I come across to try Danyelle's Kettelbell Class. She has been a blessing in my life,and I know that she can bless somebody else.

Danyelle is one of the best instructors I've had the privilege of training with. She always has an upbeat attitude, and she has an incredible amount of knowledge with Kettlebells, as well as other strength and conditioning concepts. I came to her class with almost zero knowledge of kettlebells, but from the very begining she worked with me to address my strengths and weaknesses. She pushes you hard during her class- and each class is always a challenge, but its always motivating.

I highly recommend her as an instructor!

Danyelle is a wonderful instructor!! Always has little tid bits of information to help you with your own personal fitness, ways to help you improve within class, and always there to keep you movtivated to keep improving with each class. You can really tell that Danyelle lives what she teaches and is always keeping up to date and researching fitness and providing us with the knowledge she has gained. Being in Danyelle's Russian Kettlebells, Women's Boot Camp, and core class I can personally testify to Danyelle's abilitity to teach as well as her committment to acuracy in movement for maximum benefit and safety. She is very upbeat knows what she is talking about and is very dedicated to her own physical fitness. Her classes are helping strengthen my core, and gain muscles in a healthy way and allowing me to get into the best shape of my life as I continue to take her classes.

As a student for over 1 year in Russian Kettlebells and core class I can personally testify to Danyelle's abilitity to teach as well as her committment to acuracy in movement for maximum benefit and safety. I am turning 48 soon and am a passionate triathalete in the last 5 years in which thanks to Danyelle's core class and kettlebell training I am in the best shape of my life. The benefit to me came when I was training for my 1st marathon last year I was suffering with an overuse injury due to my core not being strong enough with persistance in kettlebell... I am now injury free and training for my 2nd marathon soon, 2nd 1/2 ironman and 1st Ironman in Lake Placid next July. Second benefit is people state to me often how much they want to have a fit body like I have my reply to anyone if you work at it, eat right You can especially with Danyelle's class. FYI I am a mom of 3 lost about 30 lbs 3 years ago and dicovered triathalons from my friends at this studio.

I've known Danyelle for years, personally and through our own personal fitness adventures. Danyelle has more inspiration and perseverance in her pinky than most people possess period. Her personal fitness achievement has been amazing and her passion for fitness is inspiring. She is a terrific instructor for any level. Her workouts are focused and tailored for maximum achievement. I would go to any class that Danyelle offers. I have especially enjoyed her kettlebell classes. She teaches kettlebells in a safe and structured environment and the workout I get through her kettlebell class is like no other workout I've ever experienced.

Danyelle 's kettle bell classes have turned my middle age life around from only walking a couple times a week to aspiring to eventually meet RKC snatch testing goals. Danyelle explains and demonstrates in depth the techniques required to successfully and safely work out with kettle bells. Her thorough knowledge of the muscular functioning of the human body sheds a whole new light on injury prevention and increases the quality of the workout. Danyelle's sense of humor keeps the class fun and up beat. My only wish is that I could swing kettle bells with Danyelle more often!

Danyelle is knowledgeable of the muscles and how they work together. She also explains how the kettle bell moves work each muscle group. It is all about safety and using the kettle bells properly. Danyelle is a knowledgeable and capable instructor who demonstrates a high level of proficiency in the general body mechanics required for performing Kettlebell exercises and other fitness/martial arts activities. The excellent posture that she exhibits while demonstrating various Kettlebell techniques provides a clear visual template for students to emulate while learning these techniques.

Aside from being able to execute the techniques herself, Danyelle is good at conveying information that is tailored to each student, allowing all participants to quickly learn the required techniques in a safe manner. Additionally, she is able to provide detailed and comprehensible answers to questions that students may present.

I would recommend Danyelle's classes to anybody, and I'm sure that others will do the same after participating in her classes!

I was hesitant to try kettlebells as I had not been strength training on a regular basis and suspected this would be difficult for me. I find Danyelle's teaching technique easy to follow and her dedication to go form made it possible to learn without getting injured. I look forward to her class each week. I can tell that the strength and form learn in the class will carry through to my running, cycling and swimming!

I find Danyelle's classes to be quite enjoyable and look forward to them. She includes a good mix of material at various levels including cardio, strength and form. She is picky about form which is good as it prevents injury. I recommend her classes to anyone.

Danyelle was my instructor for the Kettlebell program at the Baltimore Martial Arts Academy in Ellicott City MD. I felt that she provided an enthusiastic and fun atmosphere to learn in. She kept the pace challenging for all levels without losing the beginners.

One of Danyelle's strengths is she's able to lead by example with seemingly flawless execution of her kettlebell technique. She was also able to provide thorough answers to my often unusual questions.

I very much enjoy her classes and highly recommend her as an instructor.
