10/10 Kettle Bells Get Results!

I've been training with Bill for three months! I am very pleased with my results. Bill's focus is on what's going to work best for you. He spends quality time explaining the Kettle Bell excercise and what area it will target. He keeps you motivated every time you train! Bill is a great trainer with a lot of knowledge and true passion for what he does!

Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to ketlebell workouts in general and to instructor Bill Duvall specifically. Wasn't sure what I was getting into,but after the four week introductory class kettlebells will always be an important aspect of my training. Bill is encouraging and technique is everything with him. Everybody who completed the class had improved their strength.Can't speak for anyone else but beside the improved strength experienced greater range of motion and even lost a couple of unwanted lbs.. Would highly recommend Bill's kettlebell class to anyone at any age who is real serious about conditioning and fitness.

Bill Duvall's Personal Training has delivered challenging workouts for me with kettlebells, functional movements, and in-depth instruction on all levels of exercising and developing core strength with primary focus on balance and cardio. Doctors have told me my limited range of movement would never improve and my lower back/shoulder pain was something I would have to deal with. With Bill's knowledge and patience that has proven not to be the case. Training with Bill has me exceeding by far my expectations.

I recently had a personal training session with Bill Duvall working on kettlebell basics. I've been working with kettlebells for a few years, but Bill helped me clean up my technique, enabling me to get the most out of my workouts and keep myself safer from injury. He absolutely knows how to teach. Bill's style is easy to work with, and he communicates clearly. I would definitely recommend Bill to anyone interested in getting fit, particularly using kettlebells.

Bill was my personal trainer for 2 years, and introduced kettlebells into my workouts after about 1.5 years. When working out with kettlebells, it is immediately apparent that the muscles you're targeting are being hit very hard, along with an intense cardio workout.

I would highly recommend kettlebells and Bill to anyone looking to get in good shape quickly.

I had been introduced to KB while at Fitness Ridge by a fellow RKC. I was reccommended to Bill when I returned to Reno. I hit it off with Bill immediately.
He's energetic and very knowledgeable in his field. He has excellent form and is a great teacher. He knows when to push you and when to save you from hurting yourself. He will explain the method to his madness...especially when I question him. :) And of course he's always right!
He has helped me lose inches, gain a tremendous amount of strength in a short time and my balance and flexibility from KB is nothing short of a miracle.
To anyone who has back issues and think they cant do this...think again. I was going to the chiropractor and getting injections on a regular basis with the diagnosis of Degenerative Disc Disease...In less than 4 months, I no longer need either. My back is stronger than ever and pain free.
I had a hard time swinging a 25lb bell in the beginning and can now easily swing it with one arm. It's always fun and the time goes so fast. With some boxing and other things thrown in, I havent been on a treadmill in months and am no longer dreading exercise because it's now so much fun!
Please try KB and Bill, you will be very happy you did. Thank you Bill for all that you are and all that you do for me!

I've recently completed one of Bill Duvall's Personal Training six week boot camps and was very impressed. I'm in my 40's, have the typical creeks and pains of my age and until now, have never stepped foot in a gym. Although this is a group program, Bill strives to provide personal attention to each and every participant. As a result, I have far exceeded my expectations for strength and balance and more importantly personal goals of cardio and flexibility. Bill's boot camp has been entertaining, easy to follow and diverse enough to keep my attention and keep me coming back. I can whole heartedly recommend there boot camp program without hesitation!

I came to Bill five months ago, when I wanted to find a boot camp that would be a great workout and get my body into shape. It would have to be indoors, since it was getting cold and I knew I would use the weather (cold or hot) as an excuse not to head out, when given the opportunity. A friend of mine found Renobootcamp.com and we checked it out. So here I am, five months later, absolutely hooked. Bill's workouts are so addicting that "not showing up" is not an option. His personality is positive and encouraging, perfect to get you over that threshold for pushing yourself just a bit harder.
The classes are small, which allows Bill to give everyone a lot of personal attention. He is always adjusting a stance or movement, to make sure that we are focusing on the right muscles and not injuring ourselves. Bill's knowledge of our anatomy is a tremendous asset, as he literally shapes our bodies and helps us prevent injuries, which are so easy to get when working out hard.
Having all the tools available to achieve that awesome workout in a professional setting makes the actual workout great for all levels. The camaraderie in the class is fantastic and really helps us get over the "I can not do one more" mindset. From beginners to advanced, everyone seems to cheer and help each other to the next level.
I love fitting back into my skinny jeans(my husband loves that too), and must say I just thrive on the strength and endurance increase that is only improving.

Thank you Bill, for being such a fantastic trainer!

Since I have started with Bill Duvall I have noticed so many different changes. Not just in my body but how I feel. I am more energetic, I have more more endurance and enjoy working hard. Over the course of 7 months I have lost 33lbs, 3 jean sizes and inches all over. The inthusiasm Bill has for his job is like no other. He pushes you as well as teaches you. He makes the workouts a challenge but also fun. For anyone looking for something new, exciting and different then this is the place for you. It has changed my life and the person I want to be be. About 10 months ago I joined Bill Duvall's Kettlebell class and haven't been able to stop bragging about the experience since. Bill considers the needs of each unique individual while simultaneously leading a workout that is fun and challenging for the whole group. Not only did I quickly achieve the physical results I was looking for, but I feel that many of the positive changes in my life this past year are a direct result of the confidence and motivation that comes from working weekly with Bill and the other Kettlebell students. I never imagined myself as a person who would get sad about being away from the gym for too long, but it's happened! I'm now looking forward to joining his next Boot Camp!

I have been working out with Bill since he first started his Boot Camps in July 2009. After several seesions, I wanted more of a challenge and tried Kettlebells. There is NO better way to tone your body and lose fat - as long as you are eating right, you will see results!!

Bill keeps the class motivated by changing our workout each time - we're always guessing what we will be doing next which is great. I really appreciate that he takes the time to advance his own knowledge through continual education which only helps us, his clients.

Bill is the best trainer I have ever worked with and the one I have seen the most results with - he knows when to push you and he knows your limits - even more than you know yourself! Everyone should try the challenge of kettlebells if you want to tone and lose weight!

I was so elated to find an RKC kettlebell instructor when I moved to Nevada from Minnesota. Bill creates great kettlebell workouts that really test your strength and endurance. I always want to say, "I can't do this," but I can always hear Bill responding, "You can do this!" He takes great care in making sure each client in the small group has the proper weight and form during each repetition. And the best part about Bill is that he really cares about each and every one of us. He always takes the time to "check in" and crack a joke or two. Bill is a great instructor and his kettlebell enthusiasm is totally contagious. Thanks Bill for pushing me when I need to be pushed and lightening my load when you can tell I've had enough!

Bill, is always upbeat and positive. His workouts are not one size fits all, he adjusts to your capabilities and fitness, which is nice for us older, wider guys. After my first 6-week Bootcamp I lost 14 pounds overall (21.5 pounds of fat), 5.7% body fat and regained alot of my flexibility. I feel better, sleep better and have alot more energy during the day. I've signed up for my 2nd bootcamp and plan on attending these bootcamps into the future. Thank you Bill!!!!

 
10/10 Try Kettlebells instead of Pilates

I was looking for a strength building routine rather than a mat Pilates or on a reformer. My instructor suggested the kettlebells for strength training, core, overall coordination and body toning. I had been doing personal training for about a year and a half at this point. I will say that form is everything and that you should (must) make sure any instructor you work with knows what they're doing. At first, I thought that I'd tweak my knees or back; however with encouragement and fine adjustments to form (from my trainer Bill Duvall) that wasn't and isn't the case. I've had a serious knee injury in the past and the kettlebells haven't bothered my knee. Again, we really work and focus on form. The overall results are better than the reformer Pilates I've done in the past. I've been doing Kettlebells for more than four months now and highly recommend it to the over 50 crowd. My coordination is really improving along with strength. Plus, you're always working the core with correct breathing and form. I highly recommend a certified and experienced trainer like Bill for kettlebells!

I have been working out with Bill for almost two years. I started with personal training and then moved on to his bootcamp . The last 3 months I have been taking his kettlebell class, which is by far my favorite. Bill has an amazing way of making every class fun and challenging and he is very creative in designing the workouts so they are always different. Since starting with Bill I have lost weight and inches, but the most exciting change I've noticed is my increased strength. Bill is always motivating me to push myself and in doing so has improved my quality of life immensely. Bill truly cares about each and every client and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their level of fitness.

I took the kettlebell Level 1 session with Bill and it was awesome!Bill really knows his stuff when it comes to kettlebells and overall body fitness. The training included; step by step instruction, documented instruction for future reference, as well as tips and ideas about how to mix it up. I want to thank your for the surprising results I observed after only 4 weeks of your boot camp. First I noticed I was more flexible. Next I realized simple movements like getting out of a car no longer produced joint pain. And finally, I discovered I could once again scratch my back with my right arm without any pain - something I have been unable to do for several years. These may seem like small improvements, but at my age, they have greatly improved the quality of my life. Thanks

Bill is committed to helping his clients reach their goals. Workouts with Bill are always fun, as he is able to keep his clients' enthusiasm high with his knowledge of exercise physiology and diet, as well as his never-ending supply of exercises. He has a remarkable ability to prescribe the correct amount of weight and number of reps during an exercise set such that I maximize my effort without getting worn down. Bill is especially knowledgeable of kettlebell technique, and my strength has improved considerably since working with them. Without reservation I recommend Bill Duvall to anyone seeking to improve their fitness.
