10/10 Awesome class, awesome instructor!

By Elise Gingrich / Fort Collins, USA

I have taking kettlebell classes with Aaron for 3 years now. I initially started taking the classes because I wanted to try something different and I am so glad I did! It has improved my overall strength and flexibility that I notice in all aspects of my life.
Aaron is a great instructor who takes the time to make sure each student is using correct form and performing exercises safely, no matter how long it takes you get there. He helps students modify exercises as they need to if they are dealing with injuries or other limitations - he even helped me modify my exercises when I was 8 months pregnant so I could safely stay active! Aaron truly enjoys teaching and it shows!

10/10 Individual Training with Aaron

By Michael G / Fort Collins, USA

I've been doing individual training with Aaron for nearly 3 years. While training with Aaron my blood pressure dropped from 140/190 to 120/70; I have lost 8 pants sizes, my mobility and flexibility have improved significantly, and I am a much more fit, conditioned person than I have ever been in my life. I also feel a lot better with the lean muscle I have added to my body.

I will say though that these improvements have not been quick or easy. Picking up a KB in a gym for the first time was intimidating. Learning the TGU was a struggle that took me 9 months to perform correctly. Even today, I am still working to improve my goblet squat and find doing it correctly a challenge. In addition to learning the skills for using KBs safely and constructively, I have had to do a lot on my own outside of training: using a foam roller, lacrosse ball, resistance bands to improve mobility, and stretching almost daily, changing my eating and improving my sleeping habits. To improve my conditioning, I've been running now for 2 months (with Aaron's guidance), and riding a bicycle several times per week. I was in junior high the last time I did any running or bike riding, about 38 years ago.

What kind of trainer is Aaron? The best kind: patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and flexible. Aaron brings a lot of variety to our training sessions and that has kept this work engaging, fresh, and challenging. You can change your life and health for the better training with Aaron. If you are starting off from a place where you are not very fit (or even if you are very fit) give Aaron a try for at least 3 months and be willing to commit to improving your overall health outside of your training and you will be glad and proud of yourself that you did.

10/10 High level instruction

By Pete Conovitz / Fort Collins, CO, USA

Aaron is a guide to a new level of fitness and health. You can absolutely tell right away that this is not just a job for him but a true passion. In addition to being able to clearly, effectively and patiently teach the technical skills and movements, he recognizes and teaches all aspects of fitness - strength, power, endurance, durability, athleticism. Another outstanding quality is his attention to detail and form - which I am convinced has helped me avoid many of the recurring injuries I've experienced from weight training in the past. He is the real deal.

10/10 Great teacher

By Ashley Houston / fort collins, USA

Aaron has been great teaching me a variety of exercises. He always emphasizes doing what you can rather than pushing yourself to injury. I've appreciated the slow progression into working with kettlebells since I have never worked with them before. Great instructor. Great classes.

10/10 Top Notch Conditioning

By Hal Massey / Fort Collins, USA

Aaron is exceptionally well versed at all aspects of physical conditioning and physical education. He is professional and able to improve strength and conditioning for his students. He is caring and attentive able to work through students weak areas. He builds a program that is custom suited to you and then works tirelessly with you to help you meet your objectives. I highly recommend him and his company.

10/10 Aaron Pierson teaching kettlebells

By Sonnie Graves / Lakeland, USA

I am over 70 years old and was starting to loose my balance and strength. I was lifting weights in a group for about 2 years. I felt I was no longer improving in what I needed. I have been receiving lessons with Aaron for over 2 years. I work hard and Aaron has helped me to have the strength and balance I need. I am no longer at risk of falling like I was before I started lessons with Aaron. I love kettle bells and am proud of what Aaron has helped me improve in both strength and balance. He works with me in standing straighter, being able to get up off the floor without any help. He is patient and see's what I need in the way of exercises I have to work on in order to reach goals I have set for myself. Simple things like crawling and being able to balance on one leg sounds simple but not when you haven't done this type of exercise for a long time. I can do this and have advanced to where it seems simple now. He has the knowledge and the patience as an instructor to make it exciting to learn how to make my body strong and to continue working.
I started working out with Aaron around 2 years ago and I have moved from Colorado to Florida so he continues working with me through Skype.

10/10 Best of the Best

By Charis Cook / Fort Collins, CO, USA

I played around with kettlebells before and loved them, so as soon as I moved to Fort Collins, I wanted to find someone who was RKC to help me become certified. The universe was giving me a big high-five by leading me to Aaron. He responded to my email inquiry almost immediately and then took about an hour out of his day to call me and answer questions I had and help me figure out what I needed to know. When I started working with him I learned almost immediately that I had no idea what I was doing, but because he was so patient and easy to follow, I didn't feel defeated but quite the opposite... I could do this and do it right! It's been over a year now since I've been coached by him and every time I learn something new; moves I do all the time get better and better because his way of approaching it is enthusiastic and respectful. I'm also stronger and a better trainer because of him and his methods. His excitement and passion is contagious. Also as a female, it amazes me how well he coaches both men and women of all ages and sizes. To go to his evening class is to see some shamelessly strong women slinging around some serious weight with precision and confidence is an amazing sight. He truly has a way of making strength appealing and accessible to everyone. I am so grateful to have met him and the city of Fort Collins is fortunate to have such a skilled, gifted teacher.

10/10 Great instructor!

By Sarah Mannschreck / Fort Collins, USA

I just started kettlebell training at Fundamental Strength and I am really enjoying it. I needed to shake up my workouts and try something new to challenge my body. The focus is on building strength with proper form. Safety is a big priority. Aaron is a terrific instructor and he really spends some time with you to be sure you are being challenged and performing the exercises correctly. He is patient and knowledgable. I am really enjoying my workouts and have found some muscles that I didn't know I had :) .

10/10 A great leader

By Shari Wagner, RKC II / Denver, USA

There’s a reason why Aaron was selected as a Team Leader. He’s a patient and calm instructor who makes the RKC technique easy to understand for any level of trainee. I have known Aaron for a few years and most recently he helped me with some technique prior to attending our level 2 workshop together. Aaron has been helpful, supportive and encouraging before, during and after our certification, both as a coach and as a friend. Colorado is lucky to have such a great leader.

10/10 Dealifts, Presses, and Squats, Oh MY!

By A. De Jager / Fort Collins, USA

I saw a Living Social deal for Fundamental Strength, and decided to give it a shot. I had started a journey of getting in shape, (since round is not the shape I wanted to be forever), and decided to try something new. I started classes in September of 2013, and have never looked back. From the moment I walked into the gym, I was hooked. Under the watchful eye of Aaron and the other coaches, I have lost weight, (going on 70 pounds), gained massive muscle definition, and learned that I am stronger than I could ever believe. I can deadlift 245lbs, and single arm press a 24k bell. Prior to coming here, there was always a stigma that I felt about being the "fat girl" at the gym, and was very hesitant about going to big box gyms. I was welcomed here with open arms, and have truly felt like I found my second family. Aaron is always watchful of technique and safety, all the while pushing you to your limits. He is mindful of making modifications when needed, and genuinely makes class a pleasure to come to. I never used to want to workout, but now, if I don't get to workout for a couple days, I start to get anxious. I recommend Aaron and Fundamental Strength to EVERYONE I talk to, and have brought several friends into the gym with me, since I love it so much.

10/10 Great program, great teacher

By Joe Defosset / Fort Collins, USA

I had known of kettlebell training before meeting Aaron but never got into it until I was talked into coming to a class at Fundamental Strength. I had heard the hype of kettlebell training from "other" training systems that were high intensity, low weight work-yourself-until-you-puke kind of workouts and I didn't want to do anything like that. I was immediately impressed by the different point of view that Aaron had and his focus on technique, safety, and doing what you're capable of while pushing yourself hard and creating results.
Before coming to Aaron's classes I either worked out in traditional gyms or simply did some training myself. My consistency and motivation were the biggest struggles and having the great environment that Aaron creates in his classes has completely turned that around, making it easy to get a consistent and practical workout in on a regular basis, and I'm motivated to do it now! The great thing about his training program and teaching style is that a person who's never worked out in their life and a professional athlete could go through one of his classes at the same time at their own pace and ability levels and both will come out feeling like they had a great workout and improved their fitness.
My training priorities have never been to become the best at swinging a kettlebell or setting a record deadlift. My biggest driver for training has been to be in the best shape I can for riding and racing my mountain bike, and the combination of conditioning work, kettlebells and weight training that Aaron is an expert has provided the best results for me.

10/10 Excellent!

By Richard Lane / Fort Collins, USA

I had the pleasure of working out with Aaron last year and found his knowledge of kettlebells unsurpassed. He consistently varied workouts with interesting routines and took the time to make simple and small corrections in each students form. I wish my schedule allowed me to still workout in his program and would gladly recommend him to anyone looking to get into seriously good shape.

10/10 Real training for real life

By Jason Holland / Mead, CO, USA

Being young and dealing with chronic joint problems is no fun. I'd been unable to lift for a few years before I met Aaron and was introduced to kettlebell training. I'd always avoided looking into it because it was so different from standard globo-gym style workouts that I was used to. Well I'm glad I got over that and went to see Aaron. I've increased my strength 4x from where I was before. I've firmed up a bunch and now have new endurance that I may have never had before due to his style of training. Aaron worked privately with myself and my wife. He specifically assessed our needs and weaknesses and then tailored a program for us. More importantly he was able to work around my joint issues and keep me injury free during all of the training.

This program evolved overtime and the weight increased from 8kg kettlebells to 24kg kettlebells in less that a year's time. Along with changing my diet and working with Aaron, the changes in my body very evident to those around me and I get asked at work all the time what it is that I've been doing for my workouts. I highly recommend Aaron to others and continue to train with him myself.

10/10 Empowerment for mind and body

By Kendra S / Fort Fun, USA

I found Aaron and Fundamental Strength after deciding to try one of those group deal-of-the-day offers for kettlebells. At the time of my first class (November 2012) I had a regular gym membership, attended a few group classes, dabbled in weight training, and skied and cycled on my own. I was of average fitness with a desire for improvement, but had average to below-average motivation combined with a poor track record of consistency and continuity in my so-called program. The first few sessions were tough for me, as I struggled to master the mechanics of the kettlebell movements (which felt very foreign at first) but Aaron's patient coaching and eye for perfection paid dividends, and it was only a week or two before I was looking forward to attending class every evening. While his focus and primary training is kettlebells, Aaron never limits our workouts; he incorporates a variety of movements with bells, movements with body weight, major power lifts, primal patterns and cardio conditioning into workouts each week, so that we're always challenged physically and mentally. Aaron also fosters a dynamic coach-team relationship that helps each of us feel safe, confident and supported by him and by each other—with the right amount of pressure to achieve new personal milestones. Today I feel significantly stronger and more capable physically than I did just nine months ago, but more importantly, I feel unstoppable mentally and constantly empowered by Aaron to push into new areas of achievement.

10/10 Great teacher

By Joshua powers / Fort Collins, USA

My primary reason for joining Aaron was to get my shoulder back into shape after shattering it in a bike accident a little over a year ago. I can safely say that the classes have helped to not only make my shoulder feel 100% back to normal, but also make me overall stronger.

Aaron gives amazing instruction and help to his students. Making sure that each one is working out safely, but also pushing themselves. I would highly recommend checking out one of Aaron's classes to anyone looking to get stronger and fitter.

10/10 More than I could have hoped for

By Brandy F / Loveland, United States

When I joined Fundamental Strength over a year ago, I was on a journey to improve my health, lose weight and become a stronger person overall. I have been able to lose over 40lbs and significantly improve my health with the help of Aaron. He encourages his clients and provides additional training opportunities outside of the normal classes available. He has worked with me to achieve the goals I have set, in addition to ensuring my safety when using the equipment. Each workout is challenging and gives me a good feeling of accomplishment. Aaron's encouragement and dedication to the success of his clients is evident from the moment you walk in the door. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to shake up their fitness routine to try Fundamental Strength Training! I am so glad I did!

10/10 Working out is safe, hard and fun!

By Jeruesha Nichols / Berthoud, USA

Aaron makes working out safe, hard and fun! Safety is always number one on his list, which goes hand in hand with technique. Even though we are working out as a group, of different levels, Aaron is able to keep an eye out on all of us and give us individual attention as needed (must be his Mad Dad skills). Aaron does a great job of changing the workouts daily and working every part of our bodies. The workouts are challenging and hard, but Aaron always has alternative exercises if you are not up to that level. On the other hand he also knows when to push you to excel. Aaron is always learning new techniques to challenge us and make working out more interesting and even playful. Aaron’s attitude and skills reflect in his clientele, we are supportive and help each other and we enjoy working out.

10/10 Best Instructor By Far

By Paris A / Fort Collins, CO, USA

When I decided to add strength training to my basic running workout routine a year ago I knew I didn't want to join a gym. I knew that I required motivation, pre-planned workouts, and a community of people striving for the same goal. At Fundamental Strength, through Aaron, I have found all of these things and more. One of the things I enjoy most about training with Aaron is his attention to technique. It is important to him that you are doing the exercise right in order to get the most out of it. Due to this emphasis, I always feel like I am getting personal attention and acknowledgement, even in the group setting. This is just another aspect of Aaron's gift as an instructor. After every class I feel accomplished (and exhausted, but in a great way) and can see my strength increasing. Aaron is a great motivator and truly celebrates your individual successes. When I started working with Aaron I could not do a push-up or a pull-up. Through Aaron's dynamic kettlebell classes, I can now do at least 10 "elbows tucked" push-ups in a row and 5 pull-ups in a row. And bonus, my running times have also decreased. Awesome!

10/10 Always Something New

By Dana Spanjer / Fort Collins, USA

I have always enjoyed going to the gym and working out, but it was hard to keep my workouts new and challenging so they became mundane. I would often stop working out because I was bored. Joining Fundamental Strength and working with Aaron has fixed that problem. Every workout is different, challenging and well rounded. I like the variety that each workout brings. They are often a combination of weight training, cardio, balance work, and flexibility. Aaron encourages me to push myself by increasing my weight or reps, but always has safety in mind. While he holds me accountable to meet my goals and work hard, he will provide alternative exercises when I need them or tell me not to do a certain exercise if he knows it will be too much to handle that day or week. Even though our workouts are in a group format, I still receive a lot of individual attention. Aaron makes a point to circulate throughout the workouts and provide everyone with feedback, pointers and encouragement. The students are welcoming and are also a source of encouragement. Working out with Fundamental Strength has become part of my daily routine without being a hassle or a chore and because I look forward to my workouts, I get better, stronger, fitter results.

10/10 Excellent instructor

By Kyran Cadmus / Ft Collins, USA

Aaron's kettlebell instruction has gotten me stronger, leaner and fitter than I've been in a long time, and he does it with safety and attention to detail that are impressive. As a person with chronic low back pain, he's very safety conscious while also encouraging me to push myself when he knows it will be of benefit. His classes are always fun and challenging. I love the individualized instruction and form correction he provides-always improving all of us. I'm also impressed by his constant drive to learn more and improve himself and his practice.

10/10 Stronger, Faster, Better...Quicker

By Sabra Epp / Fort Collins, CO, USA

I moved to Fundamental Strength just 6 months ago after experiencing frustration from several other programs I had tried, including the "elusive" cross-fit. I was on a mission to get stronger, not just look better, but really grow my abilities and see a difference in my dead lift weight. It was only a month into the Kettlebell Strength program that I started noticing a difference. This time, I was not only getting stronger faster, but I was learning the proper way to do things. i have never had someone take so much time to correct every little movement before. I always feel when I am learning that I am doing it in a safe environment and not just having someone write a work out on a board and say, "do it"..that just doesn't seem effective. Now, 6 months later, I am dead-lifting 1.75 times my body weight and getting stronger everyday. The workouts are fun and always different and I think Kettlebell Strength and Conditioning will be in my life for a long time :) Thank you Aaron, for taking the time to introduce me to the KB way of life!

10/10 GREAT class!

By Sarah Millonig / Ft Collins, USA

Two of my co-workers encouraged me to join FS and I'm glad they did. I have really enjoyed the dynamic environment and courses offered. The variety of times for classes is also extremely beneficial. I love being challenged but not forced to try something I'm not comfortable with. I always feel supported and encouraged to try new things. It is a very safe environment and I am walking away 12lbs lighter after ~6 months. More importantly I FEEL healthier, stronger and more stable. Thanks to Aaron and the crew for all the help, guidance and encouragment!!

10/10 Mile High Strength

By Ari Harris RKC II, CK-FMS / NYC, USA

I met Aaron at the February 2013 San Jose RKC, where we were both assistant instructors. I witnessed him do a bent press with a 48kg kettlebell and other feats of strength. Assisting at a cert means you take pride in keeping "the blade sharp". I appreciate fellow fitness professionals that take pride in constantly perfecting their craft. I highly recommend training with him if you're in the Fort Collins area.

10/10 Amazing instructor!!!

By Alicia Reinhardt / Fort Collins, USA

I was refereed by a friend to try Kettlebells with Aaron. I was nervous at first trying them. Everyone I knew that did them were big, beefy, hard core guys that said it was hard but fun and a great workout. I called Aaron up to meet with him for the 1st orientation. He spent at least a 1/2 an hour talking to me on the phone about his class. I was amazed how much time he took talking with me on his day off. I have now been doing his class for over 6 months and am hooked for life! Aaron is so passionate about kettlebells, health and teaching. He takes the time to individually instruct each person so they are doing the movements correctly and safely. He makes classes so much fun! He is very patient, kind, supportive, and pushes you when you need it and he knows you can do it. I still have a ways to go until I meet my personal goals, but each day of training I feel so much better, healthier, and stronger. I never knew what my body was capable of until I met Aaron. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me and kettlebells with Aaron.

10/10 Excellent teacher and very attentive to detail.

By Brian Myers, HKC / Amarillo, Texas, United States

I went to an HCK certification that Aaron was hosting in June of 2012. Aaron was very attentive to every detail throughout the entire day. His teaching style is straight forward and easy to understand. I had a few kinks in my TGU and Aaron was able to show me a few tips rather quickly that cleaned up my form in the TGU. I really like Aaron's philosophy of quality over quantity, because that is the way that I like to train my clients having been a personal trainer for 5 years. If you are looking to build strength, work on conditioning, or just improve your fitness overall, look no further. I highly recommend Aaron to help anyone reach their goals. If you've tried everything else and nothing is working for you, give Aaron a call or stop by and see him. I was very impressed with his knowledge and teaching style and last but not least, the attentiveness to detail and safety. Thanks Aaron for a great experience!

10/10 A True Girevik and an Outstanding Instructor

By Gus Petersen / Denver, USA

In Russia 150 years ago, when you called a man a girevik, you were saying "This man is a kettlebell man, or strongman." To me, Aaron Pierson is the epitome of a girevik or kettlebell man. Aaron lives to learn and teach kettlebell mastery to his clients. He is always working this methodology or reading that author's work, trying it for himself, and then methodically helping clients get rehabbed, get strong, and get the most out of their lives!

Because of this, he is the best of the young kettlebell instructors I have met. And I have met a lot of talented up-and-coming RKCs over the last 8 years. His passion, professionalism, and dedication to his craft are second to none. He has a work ethic that is truly impressive. And he has that rare combination of humility and strength that makes working with him a real pleasure. When I have the opportunity to work with Aaron, I always go out of my way to do so, and so should you! You'll be happy you did.

10/10 Great instructor, great workout

By Laura Trujillo / Fort Collins, USA

Aaron's knowledge is key to providing a great learning environment for a beginner. I appreciate Aaron's attention to detail and safety during each class. I can feel improvements in my core strength just a short time after beginning kettlebell classes. These classes are fun and a challenge that I look forward to each week thanks to Aaron!

10/10 Great instructor and mentor

By Zac Zech HKC / Great Falls, USA

Aaron is such a knowledgeable instructor, his ability to notice small deficencies and correct them is very impressive and trait I strive to emulate. His willingness to take me under his wing and coach me shows how genuine he is and he has all the traits of an excellent coach and mentor. I count myself lucky to have the oportunity to learn from him and progress under his tutelage.

10/10 New to Kettlebells

By Sandie Daignault / Loveland, CO USA

I just moved to Colorado from CT about 4 months ago and "discovered" Aaron and kettlebell classes. I have always felt that lifting weights was key to staying strong and healthy but Aaron and his KB classes taught me more about movement with weights than I ever knew before. The attention to detail and the corrections - even the smallest move- makes such a difference in the swinging, lifting and overall confidence! Thanks Aaron - I'll see you in your next class!

10/10 Marathon training

By Erika Woolsey / Fort Collins, CO, US

I have been a runner for 10 years and a few months ago I signed up for my first marathon. My goal is to use this race to qualify for the 2013 Boston Marathon. In order to qualify, I need a time of 3:35! When I started my training, I was running 40-50 miles a week and saw no improvement. Two months into my training, I found Aaron and I am so thankful. Since I started doing kettlebell training with Aaron, my weekly mileage has not exceeded 33 miles and has been as low as 17. I have learned that I do not need to log a ton of miles and risk injury. I work with Aaron 3-4x a week and only run 4-5x a week. My running times have dropped significantly (20 miles @ 9min/mile). Along with my times dropping, I also am setting personal bests in kettlebells & lifting (195lbs deadlift, 1.5x my bodyweight). I never thought I could be this strong! Aaron always makes sure my runs are not suffering due to kettlebell training/lifting. I have always felt comfortable training with Aaron, he will push you but never to failure! If you are looking to add strength training to your own training, whatever it may be for, I highly recommend Aaron! I will achieve my goal because of the training I have received.

10/10 Feeling Amazing

By Emilie Ayoub / Loveland, United States

I have been working with kettlebells now for almost eight months. I have worked up my strength and endurance. I went from being exhausted while swinging a 20lb bell to feeling incredible while swinging a 62lb bell. Aaron has talked a lot about good eating habits, finally I have taken his advice by cutting processed foods and eating smartly now. By doing that and working as hard as I can in class I feel like I am on top of the world. In the past two weeks I have dropped 4 pounds, and since starting this whole journey I have dropped 3 pant sizes and shirts that used to be snug and uncomfortable on me are too big for me now. I was a catcher for ten years and even then I was not in the shape that I am in now. I feel strong and healthy and confident. Aaron pushes me to work as hard as I can, I can't thank him enough for the time he has spent with me. Coming into Kettlebells is a complete life changing process, if I can do it anyone can do it.

10/10 Triathlete in Training

By Kim Morrison / Loveland, USA

Hi~ I am a 48 year old mom of five, grandma to 7. After loosing 130lbs I started training and participating in triathlons and runs from 5k-1/2 Marathons. Fall/winter is the off season and time for me to try something 'different and fun'and improve core/overall strength. So begins the kettlebell journey! Aaron had a plan worked out to fit my short and long term training needs(as a triathlete) in the first orientation session. He is really great about changing the days workout when he sees I'm in a different place i.e. i'm sore from a training session or I've strengthened to a new skill. It was interesting reading the previous reviews regarding safety, it comes so naturally to Aaron, I've never been concerned about getting hurt. He gets me to move weight, I wouldn't think possible. I know he won't let me hurt myself, so the progress happens! In less than 3 weeks Aaron's training plan shaved time off my runs, at 6weeks my swim time has come down as well. This is with a reduced swim/bike/run schedule(off season remember) With Aaron's help, I'm going to have the best Tri season yet!!

10/10 Outstanding Instructor!

By Kate Bourland / Fort Collins, United States

I have only been working with Aaron for about 3 weeks and he has truly helped motivate me to reach my fitness goals! I wish I had known about kettle bell training sooner. I workout often, but kettle bells have helped work other areas and change up my normal workout routine. I am going to miss going to these classes when I move in a week, but I feel confident to keep up with it on my own after training with Aaron! I had worked with kettle bells some before, but had never been trained using them like I have with Aaron. He really takes the time to help and make sure you are doing everything correctly. Thank you Aaron!!

10/10 I feel a change coming on....

By Leann Coenen / loveland, USA

I have been working with Aaron consistently the past 2 months. He has opened a whole new world for me. I was in a biking accident 6 years ago and have been tormented with residual muscle weakness and pain in my lower back and hips. My mobility in these areas had become so restricted because of the muscle imbalance. Already I have seen increased flexibility and mobility in my hips. I had not really expected to feel myself getting stronger so early on, but that is occurring too.
Aaron is so passionate about Kettle bells, training, health and just overall fitness and strength. That passion is very contagious. He is so supporting and encouraging! But his #1 concern is always making sure I am doing things safely.
Aaron spends alot of his free time planning programs that are individualized for each of his clients. He always makes you feel that you are his #1 priority.
I feel very fortunate and grateful that I found Aaron and Kettle bells. He ROCKS!!!

10/10 Enthusiastic Instructor

By Kristina G / Fort Collins, US

I had never used kettlebells before this class. Aaron did a great job breaking it down and teaching proper form and technique. After a few weeks of class I saw my strength improve. He encouraged me to push myself and I was surprised how much I could lift and swing. Aaron is a great instructor, very supportive and enthusiastic. I would absolutely recommend taking classes with him.

10/10 New To Kettlebells

By Wendy M / Fort Collins, United States

Hello, I was new to Kettlebells when I signed up for Aaron's class. I had known they could create amazing results. I have only been doing classes a few short weeks. I really enjoy the classes and have found that it has improved my overall fitness level. I look forward to getting in better physical shape and having Aaron as my instructor. He is very patient and informative and also very passionate about what he is teaching!!

10/10 Kettlebells is amazing!

By Emilie Ayoub / Loveland, United States

I had never had anything to do with working with Kettlebells until we joined a gym that Aaron was doing kettlebell instructions at. After the first trial session with Aaron I knew that I was hooked. I am a small 5'2 girl and Aaron made me feel so empowered to lift some of the heaviest weights I have ever lifted. Aaron has trained me from the get go, and every workout that he taught me was just as hard/great as the first one. With kettlebells I don't have to use a ton of different machines that I don't know how to work any ways. I get a full body workout every single time I do my swings, squats, get ups, and all of the other stuff that Aaron taught me. I might be small but working with Aaron and the kettlebells has made me tough and in shape!I recommend it to everyone.

10/10 Who knew kettlebells could be so much fun?

By Michelle H / Fort Collins, USA

I read about kettlebells last summer and based on the time impact ratio, was excited to give them a try. I went out and got my own set and attempted to teach myself from several books which I have to say I would not recommend! I signed up for classes with Aaron and I am so glad I did! I learned more from Aaron in just the orientation than I did from weeks with those books. I typically avoid indoor exercise - most of my time is spent on my bikes, skiing and running - but I really look forward to Aaron's classes. And I have definitely seen improvement in my other activities.

Aaron is genuine and supportive. He can quickly assess your form and make suggestions. He is safe but does not hesitate to have you push yourself more. I am confident that I am getting the best instruction out there! I highly recommend working with Aaron. Period.

10/10 impressive attention to detail

By Brad Shannon / Loveland, USA

As a coach and communicator, I understand the importance of technique and attention to detail. Aaron takes great pains to teach technique in detail, to ensure that his students are safe, and getting the maximum benefit from each movement/exercise. He's a patient and capable teacher who obviously has a passion for what he does.

10/10 Passion breeds excellence!

By Jolena Windsor / Fort Collins, United States

I have been working with Aaron for close to a year. His passion for Kettlebell and all things fitness is truly inspiring. This passion is what keeps me going when I think I've had enough. When I first came to Aaron, I had a very weak upper/middle back, with a pretty significant curvature. With Aaron's help, my back is significantly stronger and the curvature is barely noticeable. My strength has increased greatly which has allowed to me to expand into other areas of fitness I never thought would have been possible. Thank you, Aaron, for introducing me to such a wonderful and life changing program!

10/10 Top notch! Great instructor

By Chad Paulus / Minnetonka, MN, United States

I met Aaron while I was in Colorado on vacation. I am currently an HKC and at the time was thinking about RKC but wasn't sure about it. With Aaron's techniques and tips I was able to PR on my clean and press after working with him for a mere 20 minutes.
After our meeting I was definitely inspired and much more comfortable with my skills. In the following days I signed up for an upcoming RKC. With guys like Aaron in the RKC community I know that this is a great program. I am aspiring to one day attain the knowledge about kettlebells and training that he has.
I would feel comfortable sending my mother to Aaron and not having to worry a bit about her safety. I highly recommend anyone that is new to kettlebells or experienced to work with Aaron. You won't regret it!

10/10 Great Instructor, great guy

By Sean LEffler / Los Alamos, USA

Met with Aaron as I was traveling through Colorado on vacation.

He made time in his busy schedule to spend some time training with me and really helped me push to make a new PR (personal record) doing double kettlebell presses (32k on the left, and a 36k on the right side.)

I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend him as a trainer!

So get off your butt and go get some!

Aaron is not only an awsome instructor, but the workout is great and alot of fun. I have met some really nice people and am getting to learn the whole Kettlebell thing --- I really love it!!

10/10 Learned a ton, had fun, and got a great workout

By Joe Merkle / Loveland, United State of America

Aaron is an awesome trainer that keeps things fun. I had a great workout and learned a lot about form, function, and just how much can be done with kettlebells. I am very proud to have Aaron on my staff and to see the hard work his clients do. He knows how to teach others and keeps you motivated.

10/10 Passionate and has great attention to detail

By Casey Trickey / Fort Collins, USA

I have been attending a Krav Maga conditioning boot camp for over a year now and have experimented with kettle bells in this class. Fairly recently Aaron began to advertise some kettle bell specific classes as well. I decided to try them because of how unique kettle bells are and how great of shape Aaron is in from exercising with them. I have been very pleased with his classes and the technique he has taught me. Aaron is very passionate about kettle bells, as you will see on his website, and is highly trained with them as well. His instruction is excellent due to his attention to detail, expertise, and attitude to help his students push themselves without getting hurt. Aaron seems to remember specific problems with each and every student and addresses them on an individual basis to fix them. A good example for me is cleans. I still haven't quite gotten them yet, but he has brought a new way to learn them to every class for the past four classes. He is also very helpful and willing to aid you outside of class as well. I am moving to Japan in a week and Aaron looked up and contacted some RKC instructors near where I am moving and has given me some resources, including books and work outs, to continue to pursue my kettle bell career. Do not pass up this chance to change your way of life!

10/10 Much more confident!

By Angie Schumacher / Fit Chick Express, USA

Aaron did a wonderful job of not only helping me feel more confident in my work with kettlebells, but also my clients. He used great tips and tools to help me understand not only how to teach my clients correctly but also to help me to push myself and have more confidence in what I was able to do. Even my clients were able to feel more confident in just one day of training with Aaron.

Thanks for everything Aaron! We will definitely be asking you back to work with us!

10/10 "Your fitness level is great!"

By Tina Barnett / Ft Collins, Co

I want to take this opportunity to give Aaron Pierson a big "thank you" for helping me with the understanding of the awesomely versatile tool, the Kettlebell! I just finished an extremely physical training in Krav Maga, where I have been an instructor here in Fort Collins for approximately 10 years! I am happy to say that after the 10,000 kettlebell swing challenge that Aaron gave me, I was able to complete the training with minimal breaks. My cardio was "awesome!" The instructor even told me that my fitness level was great! "Thank you Aaron!"
I have noticed an increase in strength, endurance and stamina!
Aaron is an excellent instructor and is very knowledgeable, we are very pleased that he is part of our Krav Maga family and are more than happy to recommend him to anyone who asks about kettlebells. His "no excuses" approach is exactly what I need to keep going. His attention to detail and making sure I am doing everything right, (and not slacking) is what has kept me interested

10/10 Excellent Technique!

By Phil Ross: RKC Team Leader, CK-FMS Certified / Ho Ho Kus, NJ

I had the pleasure of having Aaron as one of my students for the RKC Certification. In a word - he was Outstanding! Aaron's passion for kettlebell training was incredible. He worked, listened, learned and then performed. His body control and comprehension of the material was extremely impressive to me.
I was so impressed, that I recommended Aaron to be an assistant instructor at the RKC Certification Course.
Great Job Aaron

10/10 Aaron ROCKS the Kettlebell!

By Lynnette Harper / Fort Collins

Aaron is an experienced and intelligent trainer who is an absolute joy (please do not ready 'easy) to train with. He balances motivation with understanding, and continually takes his clients to a higher level of fitness and comfort. His training gets results and his ability to educate creates clients who are able to challenge themselves while remaining safe and fit. Whether you are 50 and run triathalons or 23 and fit perfectly into a groove on your couch- Aaron will take you to the next stage of your fitness goals. Aaron also works full time, has a family, works-out, and trains others- so any excuses you may think you have are a moot point in his gym. You can do it, and Aaron will teach you to do it well!

10/10 Doing Kettlebells RIght

By Joel White / Fort Collins, CO

What an amazing teacher. I met Aaron in conditioning class and my immediate thought was I want to be that fit. I had been lifting for awhile with little results. I have been working out for 2 weeks with him and my cardio, fitness, and overall health has increased greatly. Conditioning has become easier and more enjoyable. I have never met anyone as knowledgeable as Aaron and look forward to improving my kettlebell skills through his knowleadge and teaching. If you want to do kettlebells safely and accomplish your kettlebell goals, this is your instructor!! Do not call anyone else, you will not get the same results!

10/10 Talented and motivating instructor

By Judson Miller / Golden, Co

I have known Aaron to be a very qualified at Krav Maga. It should not be a shock that he is excellent in the field of Kettlebells as well. Aaron is focused, determined and very knowledgeable in technique. His focus on safety and form is razor sharp. I am lucky to have been able to train with one of the best. I appreciate his patience as we work through some bad habits, and get it done right all while having a good time!

10/10 Conquering the Kettlebell

By Cheryl Krbec / Fort Collins, CO

Aaron's passion for health and fitness shows in his focused kettlebell training. Prior to taking the Fit in 5 Challenge, where Aaron is a lead instructor, I worked with kettlebells briefly in a boxing class. I didn't like working with the kettlebells at that time and realized, after taking Aaron's advice on proper form and technique, that my swinging technique needed an overhaul. Aaron was very patient and knowledgeable and taught me the correct form and technique needed to work with the kettlebell. He also taught me that setting small attainable goals keeps your motivational fires stoked and your workout focus sharp. While working with Aaron I lost 4 pounds and sculpted the muscles in my arms. If you're truly serious about getting healthy and fit, I highly recommend working with Aaron. Now I'm off to buy my first kettlebell...

10/10 Great motivator who hooked me on kettlebells

By Elisa Hansen / Loveland, CO

I have been attending a boot camp where Aaron is a lead instructor.I have found his instruction to be top notch. Aaron is positive and motivating and an expert in kettlebell training. He does not ask anything of me that he has not already tried. My goals are important to him and he pushes me to step up and get it done. I have seen measurable results in both strength and endurance. My form and technic are daily getting refined and tuned by his expert eye and I am confident that I will be able to take the workouts home. I also appreciate that Aaron has his own goals and is working at meeting those goals. I am hooked on kettlebells and believe I will meet my goals sooner and even surpass them thanks to Aaron's help and hitting the kettlebells.

10/10 Kettlebells done right!

By Ian Hill / Fort Collins, CO

I have been using kettlebells in my Krav Maga conditioning classes for quite some time now. I decided to do a workshop with Aaron Pierson, an HKC instructor, this past weekend, and I realized almost immediately that my technique and form was all wrong. Of course, I wasn't told this in a rude way by my instructor. Working with Aaron was a great decision and the first step towards perfecting my kettlebell techniques. Over the next 3 hours we focused on the basics, beginning with the Swing, then moving into the Get-up, and finishing with the brutal Goblet Squat. By the end of the session, my legs were like jell-o, and the next day I was walking like the Tin Man. But what a great feeling!!!
Aaron is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and eager to share what he has learned. For those looking to kick start their workout and gain a new level of strength and conditioning, I HIGHLY recommend working with Aaron Pierson. You will not be disappointed!
