Aaron Gonzales was introduced to the Kettle Bell, as a weight lifting tool in May 2008. He decided to attend a workshop to learn more about the kettlebell; he came across the Dragon Door website and signed up for the RKC Instructor Workshop, under the presumption he would learn new weight lifting techniques. Two weeks prior to the workshop Aaron was introduced?to "RKC?hardstyle" the kettlebell's true ability. He trained privately with Jeff Mccombs and Lulin Tsai who gave him an exceptional two-week crash course. During the workshop, Aaron desired to become an instructor and he realized the Kettle Bell could?change his life and the life of his clients. Fortunately(yes fortunately), Aaron did not pass the October 2008 workshop, but he returned home with the knowledge and determination to come back and learn the "RKC Hardstyle" system intricately and perfect his technique. Aaron trained daily and also trained privately with Dr. Mark Cheng, his friend and mentor. Aaron successfully became an RKC instructor in February 2009.In addition to the Kettle Bell, Aaron has thrived on living a healthy lifestyle, which includes a daily vigorous workout routine and healthy eating. Aaron wanted to help others become physically fit and help them reach their goals. Aaron has since become a Certified Kettlebell-Functional Movement Specialist and a ACSM certified personal trainer. As an endurance athlete, I've developed a lot of training techniques on my own over the years that have kept me competitive in my chosen sports. I was beginning to see a diminished return on investment of my efforts and was not gaining ground on the competition at the rate I wanted, so I made the decision to contact a FMS certified trainer to clean up my range of motion issues and get my body working more efficiently.

After a full FMS assessment, we've highlighted the major and minor issues and have begun to work on fixing them. The variety of training techniques is impressive. Kettlebells, stretching and a bunch of new and frustrating cross training techniques to focus in on your given weaknesses. The techniques focus on strength AND stretching/ROM. I have figured out more in the last month than I have in the last couple years. It is encouraging.

I would have zero issue recommending Aaron to any of my friends or family.

Aaron makes it happen! He took me through progressions so that I could improve my kettlebell techniques and I could feel confident when I went to participate at the RKC weekend. I passed thanks to Aaron and all of his detailed help and attention. I wouldn't have been able to go into RKC so prepared if it wasn't for him.
We have now set new goals and I'm looking forward to continuing to perfect my lifts and grinds, as well as hitting PR's that I would be less likely to do on my own!

From the moment you step into Fit-nex and begin working with Aaron you realize you have embarked on a whole different kind of experience. As a trainer and strength coach Aaron provides you with all the techniques and tools you need to succeed and reach your goals. As a person he provides you with the motivation and will to never give up. He supports you every step of the way and brings out the best in everyone.

Personally, I have been an athlete my whole life playing volleyball and softball. Despite playing sports from the time I can remember, I have always been unable to do a pull up, push up or have good endurance. With Aaron's help and kettle bells by my side I am now able to do both and can complete 5 station circuits, and most importantly I can honestly say I feel stronger. Aaron has taught me that working out and good nutrition should be a way of life not just a change for the moment. And the best part of it all is the journey has been fun. Aaron is always introducing new exercises and techniques, and constantly throwing in twists such as kickboxing, corrective exercises, and nutritional classes. Don't get me wrong there are times that I do want to give up or miss a class, but with his emails and texts he constantly reminds me to keep pushing and continue striving for my goals. Simply put Aaron is amazing and his techniques, motivation, spirit, knowledge and dedication are truly one of a kind.

Before I met Aaron Gonzales I had never heard of a kettle bell. I couldn't even imagine how these bells could give me a full body workout like he claimed. Well they do! Honestly I cant even believe how fast I began to see results. Not only did I lose weight but I no longer have lower back pain that I have complained about for the last 5 years. I feel stronger then ever and I owe that all to Aaron.

I have come to understand that kettle bell training is a technique that must be taught correctly so maximum results are achieved and injury does not occur. I couldn't trust anyone more than Aaron to train me. His continuing education gives me the confidence to say that.

I Know I am learning from the best and his contant optimism is also a plus. If you didn't come to your training session with Aaron in a good mood you will leave in one. Thank you for all of your support and motivation Aaron!

Aaron is truly an amazing human being and trainer! He has seriously changed the way that I live my life. After gaining 35 pounds while in graduate school I decided it was time to start making changes. I picked up some really bad habits of skipping meals, eating late, drinking too much coffee not enough food, eating on the run (fast food) and most importantly never giving myself time to exercise. One of my colleagues was training at Fit-Nex with Aaron and invited me to a session. At the time I decided to pass and said I was going to do "my own thing". So like many people my New Year's resolution was to go the gym at least 3 times a week. I was really committed and after three months of exercising I was not getting any results and became really discouraged. I began noticing that my colleague was suddenly losing inches and pounds very quickly and I finally said, "Okay I must meet this Aaron guy!"

Before going to Fit-Nex Training I was not familiar with kettle bell exercises at all and after seeing some of the girls doing "swings" I thought, "I can't do that" I can barely lift 10 pounds. In a matter of days I was "swinging" a 20 kg kettle bell like a pro! Aaron was so positive, patient and attentive during my learning phase and provided me with the confidence I needed to stay on task. In only three short months I have lost 20 pounds! Aaron has taught me so much about living a healthy lifestyle that there is no way that I will go back to my old ways. Aaron's enthusiasm, commitment, professionalism, and genuine caring attitude have provided me with the motivation that I needed to make a 360 change in my life. I have not only learned about being physically fit but I have also acquired so much knowledge about nutrition. Aaron has educated me about eating healthy and he helped me realize that I was really harming my body with my unhealthy eating habits. He is dedicated to helping people reach their goals and will truly go out of his way to provide you with the support you need! I have to admit that after trying so many things to lose weight I did not have much hope, but Aaron goes above and beyond! I have tried so many workout routines and different trainers but was discouraged and didnt see any results. I have known and been under Aaron's expert supervision for 2 months now. I've commented to every single things he asked me to do -my famous line was " I can't do it", Well, guess what , I COULD! And it took me a while to realize that and listened to him. His patience,motivation and guidance have helped me recognized that I am in good hands and I believe in my Trainer! I feel stronger and have more energy everyday. I feel healthier and most of all I could see and feel difference on how my body transforms.

Having worked out under Aaron's expert supervision for almost 3 months, three times a week, I feel stronger than ever before in my life, toned and energized. He introduced me to Kettle Bell training which is challenging and fun. Yes, that is swinging a 20KG weight, soon to be more. Aaron's has motivated me to work hard and accomplish things I would never be able to do on my own. This is one of the benefits of working one-on-one with such a knowledgeable trainer.

I also want to thank Aaron for the wonderful nutrition seminar he provided at FIT-NEX. It worked so well because it was really more of a healthy way to eat than a diet. As we all know diets never work because you have to change your eating habits for life to lose weight or inches and keep them off. I was never an obese person, however I realized after utilizing the nutrition program provided during our seminar that I wasn't a healthy eater. I never realized how much sugar was in my diet and how much I was lacking basic fruits and vegetables. Thank you, Aaron.

If you would of have told me then what has happened to me now I would have said impossible. When I first came to see Aaron he immediately made me feel welcome and treated me no different then the girl standing next to me half my size. After my initial screening he began to focus on my corrective excercises and had me learn the proper techniques to swing; even though with my body weight it was difficult, he helped me persevere. Day after day he reminds me of the minor adjustments such as breathing, posture, snacking and eating properly. Gradually I began to feel stronger and motivated, so I decided to try his nutrition regimen. He answered one too many questions, researched alternative choices, and guided me through ordering from the drive-thru many a time.

I went from not being able to work out for a minute straight to now being able to get through a fifteen minute vigorous circuit. Aarons positive energy in celebrating my successes and patience in developing my weaknesses has made me twenty four pounds lighter as of today.

I am telling you my story to let you know that after ten years of drinking coke, eating late, sitting on the couch and keeping on the weight from childbirth (5 years ago) somehow, someway Aaron Gonzales has changed me into someone I thought I would never become again.

I am a 55 year old mother of 5 and grandmother of 6. I am osteopenic and my doctor recommended that I should focus more on weights than cardio to strengthen my bones. I have never been into lifting weights and was a believer of cardio all the way. I must admit that the only cardio I was doing was walking 3-1/2 miles with my dog 4 days a week and felt that I was not receiving any benefit whatsoever. My knees were bothering me and I just felt soft all over. My son suggested that I go see his friend, Aaron, to try the kettlebells and I have to say that it was probably one of the best suggestions my son has ever given me.

I have been going to Aaron for around four weeks and can already feel and see a difference. I feel stronger and healthier. It took me a little while to learn to swing the kettlebell properly but he is so patient, persistent and dedicated it's only a matter of time before you learn the proper technique. He is a true believer of doing it right for maximum results. I have never been a good breather and Aaron now has me thinking of my breathing and posture all the time.

I'm a 32 year old single mother of two. Before working with Aaron I'd tried different fitness programs, diets and did not see any results. I was at 165 lbs; my self esteem was down and knew I was ready for a change. Kettlebell training was a whole new world to me, I had no idea what they were or what they could do but I decided to give it a try.

When I first came to Aaron doing a squat was torture, I couldn't do a push up or much less a pull up. Aaron worked tirelessly and enthusiastically to first increase my mobility and strength. I've been training with Aaron for 4 months now and in this time he has educated me on eating right, the importance of proper breathing, movement, technique and most importantly to believe in myself! I am proud to say that I can now do proper squats, push ups and pull ups! Aaron knew exactly the right pace to get me started, keep me from quitting, and to push me forward. He is the perfect guide and is very careful to make sure I progress with the correct form to keep away from injury.

I've lost 25 lbs, (the right way), built muscle, gained strength, endurance, flexibility, confidence and I'm healthier now than I EVER thought imaginable and very much in the swing with kettlebells. I still look in the mirror and can't believe the results!

Aaron is and dedicated, believes in his clients and is there every step of the way, from the morning reminder to the late night tips. I'm proof that Aaron can change your life. If you want results you've found the right man!!
